i play indoor soccer, and the league i’m in can get pretty competitive(aka violent). last weekend, i took a very hard hit to my right thigh, but with the adrenaline, it didn’t phase me. it wasn’t until later that night when i hit the gym for a leg workout that i noticed the damage it caused. i did most of my exercises, and i could feel some soreness right above me right knee. while doing leg extensions, i went from a little soreness, to searing pain! felt like my muscle had been ripped apart. boo sooo, for the next couple of weeks, no leg extensions, and no lunges. those hurt too. BAH. the end.

just saw my updated grades. 1 more year and im done-skees! w/ honors. (potential 3.92 with straight As). now if i could only match my bf% with my gpa…i’d be golden.

over the past several months I’ve tried a few different N.O. products. Here’s a very brief overview of my experience w/ them.
- NO Shotgun 3 - didn’t feel an energy boost but i did get some bad ass pumps. Veins popping everywhere, muscle fibers tearing through my skin! Kept me looking vascular outside of the gym.
- NOX CG3 - sucked. Tastes fantastic, but then again, so does Kool Aid haha. pumps looked about the same as if i wasn’t taking anything. didnt feel any energy. Lost the extra vascular look NO shotgun gave me. hey, at least it has some glutamine.
- NO Xplode - decent pumps, felt energized and jittery, and HOT. I liked.
- NANO - haha! what the F*ck is this shit? my friend gave it to me for free, and now I know why. So I Fortunately didn’t waste any money on this. Noticed no effect whatsoever, though it DID make my ears feel warm.
- Superpump 250 - I’m currently taking this and so far so good. About the same as NO Shotgun3. Tropical punch looks and tastes like Tang.
I have a few more in my stash I will be experimenting w/ in the near future.

3 posts in and i already fell behind. It was a pretty busy week for me. I finally got some spare time, so here’s the following workout:
Back, BIs, Abs ( i really swung for the fences on this one IMO):
Back…
- Pullups
- Wide, Overhand grip - 2 sets 8-10 reps
- Narrow, Overhand grip - 2 sets 8-10 reps
- Med, reverse grip - 2 sets 8-10 reps
- Seated rows - 3 sets, 8-10 reps, 120-140lbs
- Bent over Row (smith machine) - 4 sets, 8-10 reps, 165-185lbs
- Rev grip elevated cable row - 4 sets, 8-10 reps, 120- 140 lbs
- Dumbell Back flies - 4 sets, 8-10 reps, 20-30lbs
- Overhand pull downs - 3 sets , 8-10 reps, 120-150 lbs
- 1 arm cable pulldown - 3 sets, 8-10 reps, 45 lbs
- Hyperextensions - 3 sets, 8-10 reps, holding 5lb plate
- Reverse lower back extension? (forgot the name of this) 3 sets, 8-10 reps, 130 lbs
Biceps (needless to say they were pretty worn out at this point)…
- Seated incline hammer curls - 4 sets, 8 reps 30 lbs
- alternating dumbell curls (full supination!) 3 sets, 6-8 reps 35 lbs
- concentrated dumbell curls (seated)- 3 sets, 8-10 reps 20 lbs
- overhand grip cable curl - 3 sets, 8-10 reps 70lbs
Abs (my own adaptation of XNick EdgeX ’s workout) …
- Decline situps
- regular 3 sets, 15 reps w/ 10lb plate
- side2side 3 sets, 8 reps per side, 10lb plate
- Reverse decline crunches, 4 sets, 12-15 reps
- Cable crunches
- side2side 3 sets, 10 per side, 100lbs
- regular, 3 sets, 10 reps, 100lbs
wow. i did a lot that day. i’ll try to type the next workouts tomorrow at work. so much for catching up hehe.

i got 100% on my finance final! i ruined the curve! MUAHAHAHA
so i hit the gym at midnight. i lost track of time. anywho, here’s the workout
- quick 5 min walk to get blood flowing b4 stretching
- chest press machine- 4 sets 8-10 reps @ 160lbs
- bench press - 4 sets 6-8 reps @ 225lbs
- incline press - 4 sets 6-8 reps @ 205lbs
- cable crossovers - 4 sets 8 reps @ 50lbs ech side
- inclined dumbell flies - 4 sets 6-8 reps @ 40?lbs
- bicycle crunches 2 sets 20 reps
- v-ups 2 sets 15 reps
- side oblique crunches 2 sets 15 reps each side
took it easy on the abs. tomorrow they will be punished! …back and biceps, coming soon!
ps. stopped by the 24hr walmart to buy some produce, toilet paper, and shampoo. i forgot the produce at the store. BOO!!!!

so i guess ppl do read these haha. alright then. so, last nights workout:
- 10 min jog on treadmill (1mile)
- jump squats (on leg press machine) w/ 50lbs. 3 sets of 8-10reps
- leg press. 200lbs 4 sets, 8-10 reps
- squats (smith machine) 205lbs 3 sets 8-10 reps.
- leg abductor & adductor superset. 130lbs. 3 sets 8-10 reps
- leg curls & extensions superset. about 130lbs. 4 sets 8-10 reps
- seated calf raise. 115lbs. 4 sets. 6-10 reps.
- crawled home in tears.
i was feeling pretty sluggish throughout the whole thing but i followed through and finished all my exercises..
today is chest day. stay tuned….
