Lacking IronMaiden

I started out 2 weeks ago headed towards the pinnacle of the roller coaster! On Fire, I tell ya! Life headed in the right direction, working out, feeling good, just Too Good!! Then Mr. Murphy paid me a visit and bit me right on my butt!! Oh the Horror!! (there is no real Mr. Murphy, I swear it) And whoosh, right back down my roller coaster went. Geesh!!

I was working out then passing out!! Literally, I was. Now, I can’t even get through a workout, just straight to passing out. My problem right now (amongst others) is darn Iron anemia. I had been taking my pills and eating a lot of iron rich foods, like a good girl. I went to the doc, he retested me and to our horror my iron levels decreased!!?? What? So, I am going for an upper Gi Series Tuesday, and hopefully it will show just what the heck is going on with me.

So, as a  Public Service Announcement from Gab, the symptoms of Iron Anemia are:
Paleness (I look like Casper)
Feeling tired (ummm that is mild, I am exhausted)
Unusual shortness of breath during exercise
Fast heartbeat
Cold hands and feet (mine go numb)
Brittle nails (I have the longest nails with diamond shaped pattern ridges from this)
Headaches (like there is a jack hammer in my head)

So, get yourself checked if you are experiencing any of these symptoms. You can still be low and not have any symptoms so, make sure you get your routine physicals done!! That is an order!!

I Love pumping Iron!!! Iron deficiency… not so much. just saying.
Oh well… Full Steam (iron) Ahead!!!!

Ah kissing… Is there anything better? Is there anything as truly intimate and/or instinctive to show someone else that they are your true love? Kissing is not only immensely pleasurable, it also has many other benefits!

When kissing the sensations involved aren’t confined to the mouth. Your facial nerve carries impulses between your brain and the muscles and skin in your face and tongue. While you kiss, it carries messages from your lips, tongue and face to your brain to tell it what’s going on. Your brain responds by ordering your body to produce:

* Oxytocin, which helps people develop feelings of attachment, devotion and affection for one another
* Dopamine, which plays a role in the brain’s processing of emotions, pleasure and pain
* Serotonin, which affects a person’s mood and feelings
* Adrenaline, which increases heart rate and plays a role in your body’s fight-or-flight response

When you kiss, these hormones and neurotransmitters rush through your body. Along with natural endorphins, they produce the Euphoria most people feel during a Good Ol’ Passionate Kiss. Your heart rate will also increase and your blood vessels dilate, so your whole body receives more oxygen than it does when you’re just sitting around. Think Cardio! Don’t just sit there!!! It is Make Out Session Time!!! The chemical reaction you feel is like having your own private Roller Coaster or Mechanical Bull installed!! YeeeHaaa!

-Passionate Kissing can burn up to 26 calories per minute! A simple peck uses two muscles(blah), a Passionate Kiss uses all 34 muscles in your face. Now that’s a rigorous workout! WooHoo for Multitasking!

-Like fingerprints, No two lip impressions are alike. Interesting. Hmmmm? Lips as Evidence? Better make sure YOU are kissing the lips you should be kissing?!

-Passionate Kissing is a cure for what ails you. Research proves kissing improves our skin, helps circulation, prevents tooth decay, reduces stress levels, and can relieve headaches. (sorry ladies needing an excuse, No More Excuses)

-Kissing boosts self-esteem. When you’re kissing, you’re happy. And when you’re happy, you feel good about yourself. The alternative is true, as well, Stop Bad Kissing!!! Bad kisses will lower your self-esteem(not good!).

IT TAKES TWO to Lip Tango, it requires a TEAM effort. It is a Give and Take, if your partner can’t kiss you back or you don’t want to kiss your partner, there are much bigger issues to deal with. “Bad” (non-passionate) kisses are cause for alarm, especially if you get them often. At the very least, Bad kisses are a sign that your partner lacks the ability to be totally intimate OR you just don’t like the way your partner kisses. Either way, talk to them and/or teach them. Get the connection and bond you want. You got Nothing to lose, and only Passion to gain. SPEAK UP NOW before it is too late.
