Wednesday, September 26th, 2007

Sup everyone! How are you guys doing? Alright I’ve been MIA for a minute, but I’m back. Work took alot out of me but I’m back.

I spent this past weekend with my buddy KALI and I met his mentor DEIGO, who you won’t believe until you see for yourself–DEIGO is 62 years old, standing at 6′3  and still buff as hell!

I’m helping him out on filming project. Here’s the links on youtube.com check them out for yourself and let me know what you think:

make your own CELL TECH

Wednesday, August 15th, 2007

This is funny. someone emailed it to me, so for those folks who are buying cell tech save  your money. here’s the formula right here. click on the link

http://www.bodybuildingforyou.com/creatine/muscletech-cell-tech-homemade.htm

if the link disappears here’s a copy and paste version of it:

Celltech is a mixture of 10g of creatine, 75g of carbs, 200mg of ALA and 250mg of Vitamin C.

It is not a bad blend, but it is not worth the money they charge you for it, and their advertising is highly deceptive and their products suspect.

Here is a receipe for home made CellTech thats cheap and easy to make.

You need the following:

1. Pure creatine monohydrate powder (unflavored) - I prefer micronized creatine which is available from various manufacturers. Look for the “Creapure” logo.

2. Pure dextrose or Gatorade powder (if you use pure dextrose you may want to add a teaspoon or half a teaspoon of Koolaid or lemonade mix to it to help the flavor)

3. ALA capsules or powder (powder is available from Beyond a Century but has a burning sensation when you swallow it, but is much cheaper)

4. Optional: Vitamin C tablets or pure powder (BAC carries this as well)

Directions:

Mix either 2-3 scoops of Gatorade powder, or enough servings of Dextrose for at least 30g of carbs (you really don’t need 75g unless you feel like you need to) with 10g of creatine powder. Add 1 level scoop of ALA powder, or enough for ~200mg. Add water (and optional flavoring). Also, add your Vitamin C powder or take your tablet before hand. Stir until the ALA and creatine dissolve fully and drink.

ALA, Creatine & Vitamin C powder is available from BAC.

They should also be available from your favorite supplement shops elsewhere.

It’s working

Sunday, July 15th, 2007

Okay so I’ve done it. I spent the month of June 2007 doing more reps and doing an hour of cardio.

The workouts are split, morning and afternoon. An hour each. I go from either 5 to 6 days a week.

I did take a week off last month for full recovery.

Check out the new photos.

HOLY COW!

Saturday, May 5th, 2007

So this is strange–Okay so I’ve changed up my workout, I’ve been doing cardio twice a day 1. up in the morning with cardio tape and then again when I got to the gym for 30 minutes. I’ve also increased the number of reps. The old method: I did the decrease factor of reps with the increase of weights for example if lets say for dumb bell chest press I would do 40 lbs x 8reps, then 50lbsx 6reps, and so on. But currently I increase the the number of reps up to 15 and decrease to 10 by the time I get to the heaviest weight.

So everyone been commenting that I’ve been losing weight and I’m sure you’ve read the post of me and the 5 year old suit. So after working out today, I decided to weigh myself–I’m freakin 241! I take off my wet towel and weigh myself again–I’m 240! I don’t look 240 and I’m just blown away from it. Now I’m not trying to lose weight but I always figured that as much as I’ve been working out (six days a week with one day off) that I would be down in weight.
So I went from 225 to 240! Amazing!

supplement money wasted:Muscle-Tech the big boo boo

Sunday, April 29th, 2007

Okay I have to admit, I was a supplement junkie ! I would get my magazines and looking at newest ads, but get on line and do my research as well before I go out and buy it. Sometimes I go to froogle.com to see if I can get cheaper else where. We’ve all gone through this stage, and then we find supplements that actually work and we are loyal to it. But then there’s those moments where you think, what else can I get to make my body add on more mass, more lean, or even both.

So I got into this new craze of  Muscle Tech’s Anator P 70, reguardless of all of my negative experience with their products, I’ve went ahead spent the 70 dollars on this horrible mix of cheap kool-aid and whey protien. I tried for two weeks, I couldn’t drink any more because I was going to throw up. The smell of that product made me mad as hell! I didn’t even bother sending it back for bodybuilding.com credit, my carribean temper had me pour all the powder in the trash!

Now the folks of Muscle Tech have a new one: Nano Vapor , Which to my understanding is suppose to be better than No-Explode and Cell Mass–which for the record both work great, and anyone who use these products do see real results.

All I’m saying is it me or do anyone here feel the same way about Muscle Tech. I don’t know if they really have a team of people trying to develope a real product! It’s like they have a team of graphic designers, trying to sell us over priced kool-aid!

The 5 year old suit

Sunday, March 25th, 2007

I have a black suit that I bought 5 years ago because I bought a brown for my high school reunion. Everyone says you have to have at least one black suit–AND it took me 5 years to finally wear it. So I didn’t think of all the change I’ve done to my body since I was 27!  3 weeks ago I tried it on and it looked like suit was attack me. So I worked out twice a day and after each meal took my supplements and did 30 minute cardio a day. Needless to say, I got to wear my suite, look fly as hell. But the best part is that I’m a tiger at the gym now. Who would’ve though clothes would be such a motivator!

STARBURY to the rescue!

Sunday, January 28th, 2007

Would you wear shoes that cost 14.99? Would you wear a jean jacket for 10 bucks?! Even if it fits you and looked "cool"? NBA player Stephon Marbury have created a growing successsful shoe and clothing line called STARBURY! (www.starbury.com)

It’s not NIKES or GAP or anyone else, I’ve posted the video for more details for folks to support this guy cause!

Me, I’m feeling the brown starbufy crossovers, cyclones, and  SXM. For the gym grey starbury hoodie, halfcourt two tone jacket, two stripe zip pant, and core dazzle pants (just for leg days).

Now there’s some Starbury Jeans but my boy Nico Stallone told me anyone who workout legs, jeans are not going to be easy to buy at all! But Starbury is designed by a brutha so hopefully he recongize the packaging from of DNA!

I want the jean jacket–spring is coming soon got to look fresh!

Getting Back on Track

Saturday, January 27th, 2007

It have happened to me folks! The holidays and job promotion at once have gotten me out of the gym. I’ve gotten back this month. But what I’m finding out is that I have a sudden lack of motiviation. Worked out legs yesterday but didn’t feel like leaving the house today but tomorrow I know I’m hitting the gym. And I plan on  hitting the gym next week every day during my lunch break even if I’ll be serving!
