wow it has been awhile since I have written one of these. I guess I have just been really busy the past couple of weeks. So heres whats new with me. My diet went well for the first 2 weeks and then I kind of fell of the wagon. Now my diet is still better than it was before I start and I still am following the 6 meals a day plan however I find myself "cheating" alot more than I should. I am proud to say that I have not missed a work out yet and and seeing deff. in my arms again. I lost 3 pounds the first week and then gained 1 pound back the next. I found out last friday that I will be going to Las Vegas for a week starting May 2nd and I know it will be hard to follow my diet while im there. I am still going to work out (the airforce base where I am staying has and awesome gym) and am going to try to eat healthy as much as possible. I also recently found out that I will be going to Australia for work in August so that really motivates me to get in shape before then. Other than that all is going well. I am succeeding in getting my boyfriend in shape. He said to me the other night "I have not seen my Abs like this since high school 10 years ago" haha. Anyway I hope all is going well for everyone else.

Well my first day went really well…this is the best "diet" i have ever done, although its not a diet its just eating healthy. Diets dont work for me so this is a life style change that I will learn to live with. The "Eating For Life" book is great! So far I have based all of this weeks meals from the book and have not found one I dont like yet. I HATE fish and last night for dinner my boyfriend made some salmon and I actually enjoyed it. I just had to keep telling myself that it didnt taste fishy (mind over matter). My old eating habbits consisted of eating crappy food all day long (like every hour) so yesterday I found that even though I followed the plan to the T, I was still hungry. My boyfriend and I went to the gym around 6:00pm right before dinner. By the time we were done with our work out I was so hungry and felt very weak. Now when I get hungry and tired I turn evil and almost bit my boyfriends head off last night untill he gave me food haha (Im glad hes so understanding). Im thinking that I need to maybe add some more non starchy veggies to my meals or something else to help me not get so cranky. Our work out whent well. We did our upperbody and neith of us had lifted in about 4 years. I think we both started out too heavy and as a result are super sore today. Never the less I fell great and cant believe how much easier it is than I thought it would be. Today is a cardio day (my fav!). Oh ya I also had my body fat tested on sat and it was less than i thought (26%). Im only weighing myself once a week so I will up date that on sunday or monday. Over all I feel great a believe that this 12 weeks will go well. Thank you all for your support. Until later

I have been thinking for the last few months that my body is getting out of control. My eating habbits suck and I have been skipping work outs more freuently. Luckly, I have not gained tons of weight but i know that if i contiune on this path i will. I weigh the same now as I did in high school but I want to lose about 20 lbs however, I know that if im going to get back into lifting I should focus not so much on weight but on body fat%. So I just finished my last term of school until I get into the nursing program and feel that I should take advantage of this time off and get my body in to the best shape it has ever been. I decided that I would do body for life for the next 12 weeks starting on monday March 31. I plan on using this site as a place to get nutrition/workout tips and also to track my progress and blog about how my transfromation is going. I will post before pictures sometime this weekend and post progess pictures every 2 weeks. If anyone has any tips they would like to share I would love to hear them. I will try to write in this blog everyfew days….wish me luck!!!
