Has anyone heard of the 5×5x5 workout? I had to abandon my goal of doing crossfit for the duration of deployment, and know going to give the 5×5x5 workout a try. If anyone has tried it, I’d like to hear the results. If you don’t know what it is, ask, and I’ll fill you in.

It’s been a few months since I’ve been on the site, but I’ve been very consitent with keeping with the crossfit program. There have been many days I’ve wanted to switch back to conventional lifting; I’m glad I didn’t. I’m loving the intensity of the workouts. I really love the fact that I’m in and out of the gym in a matter of 30 minutes or less, since my work schedule really doesn’t allow for much more time than that. I recommend crossfit to anyone wanting something out of the ordinary, need a change of pace, or just wants an exceptional program to get fit.

I’ve been doing Crossfit for some time now, but this is the first time that I’ve been able to do it consitantly and I’m loving every single workout. My goal, while I’m deployed is to follow the Crossfit Workout of the day everyday I’m here. I have no excuse to miss a workout. The gym is open 24 hours a day. I wish my gym was like that back at my home station.
