Squating is different this weekend
yeah, i bounce back from the food poison/bug or whatever it was that hit me last week. I feel refreshed now and I was just busting out some weight today on the squat rack. For past 3 months I start my back day off with 4 sets of squats, Last few week I do 185×18-20, 225×10,255×6, 315×2.. Today I started off at 225 and maxed out at 335… it was great.. I feel the seperation coming in my leg muscles so this is a MAJOR deal for me. I’m a proponent of compound movements and without doubt squats have been my biggest stride.. That and Deads are two staples of my routine that will never be taken out. I’m strick on form.. On squats I take my ass to my hams and on squats I don’t bounce the weight on the floor and my legs are never more than shoulder width apart.
I’m at the end of my cut this week. I’ve learend a ton but am ready to start putting some muscle on . I’m going to focus with keeping the body fat in check but I need muslce to help keep the fat off…. I’m staying positive and see the slow progress.. it has been slow a times but days like today make the efforts sweet.
