KAH-BOOM that is the sound

yep that is the sound my body makes as it goes super SONIC into muscle making mode.. The cut is over and I’m busting ass (i can say that here right).. on the weight pile. Today I started off with back, I’m looking to gain some mass over the next 4 months and BACK is an area that I know will grow for me.. that legs and off course shoulders, arms .. and oh yeah the GUT that is going to grow but I’m going to keep working my cardio and doing all the 5 solid abs exercises I go..

Man I can’t wait to get back to pushing some IRON, nothing like hitting new PR.. and I feel some new numbers on the horizon. I’m pushing the big 45 and darn it I want to get my body roaring again.. well not again but for the first time…

so if you hear a KAH-BOOM then you can think of black_socks .. NOW GET YOUR MONEY bb land.. peace to each of you .

i’m tired of cutting.. have to change it up and start by putting on some muscle. My new goal is to put on 6 lbs of LBM over the next 4 months. Yeah i know that is very agressive, but I’m feeling good, and I think I’m still in the front end cycle of my body building phase where i can still put on size..

I’m going to start adding 2 portions of carbs to my meals each week, and up my fat content again. Will track my meals better and might start posting a grid of how my bf% to lbm goes.. My plan it so use the scivation diet, max out some bcaa’s and rock the freaking house with some muscle the natural way…

i’m getting some second glances and i’m not sure it is because i’m dropping body fat.. but my darn hair is getting long. I’m a control FREAK yeah, imagine that but I made a promise that I would not cut my hair until I hit my BF % and darn it I’m not going to cave it.. Things are going good on the cut still but man this is hard.  MY weight went up some but my body fat went down so i feel better about my diet.  I don’t carry a ton of water but I do drink a ton of it. I eat so much that some days I think I’m going to start sprouting chicken feathers or look like a TUNA.. well I used to look a little like the TUNA that coached the cowboys but that is a whole other post..

For anyone reading this in bb land. peace to you brother or sisstah. and get your money on the weight PILE. cha ching

Eating my ass off…

yes you indeed read the topic correctly. I’m eating CLEAN and my ASS is just melting away. It is a slow process, I know that I read it a million times and never understood until or better I never appreciated what I was reading until I put my body to the test.

I’ve been working out now for 18 months. Have lost about 60 pounds of fat, dropped my waist from 38 to 32 inches, I’ve put on strenghty and about 10-8 pounds of muscle in the process.  Yeah not super human gains but I know there is a much much room for improvements….

I’m sitting here on rest day just thinking about my workout for Thursday… I can’t wait.. boy oh boy is this fun… thanks to all that have helped me so far… I’m getting my MONEY on the pile and loving every minute of this journey.

Back to the RACK

Tonight was tough… I’m trying to hit the upper back hard for next 6 weeks. Trying a new routine where i do 4 sets of progressively heavier weights with 2 -3 min splits and go down in reps from 10,8,6,4.. I feel the bump and tonight i did some rack deads to keep the lower back fresh but try and fry the rest of the back. First time to do them and I only had the rack set about 6 inches off the flloor but that is enough for me. it was good stuff.

I also went with old school bb rows… a friend recommended i try them and have swapped them from classic bb rows.. it was a diff feel for sure and i focues very hard on the squeeze at the top… hard as hell to keep that back straight in that exercise.. joint i work out in has some crappy tbar so i think this is going to be way to go on the back…

well it was good.. i’m still working on my core but needed to focus on some other stuff as well I’m hoping to continue to drop some fat around my abs so they will continue to come out.. diet stays clean but this is really taking much longer to see results on the abs that I thought… My waist size is down to a 33 now.. but i still have some excessive fat on the visceral and obigues.. guess older age just makes it tougher to drop…. I"M CONFIDENT it will come off and I’m staying strong while it happens..

Squating is different this weekend

yeah, i bounce back from the food poison/bug or whatever it was that hit me last week. I feel refreshed now and I was just busting out some weight today on the squat rack. For past 3 months I start my back day off with 4 sets of squats, Last few week I do 185×18-20, 225×10,255×6, 315×2.. Today I started off at 225 and maxed out at 335… it was great.. I feel the seperation coming in my leg muscles so this is a MAJOR deal for me. I’m a proponent of compound movements and without doubt squats have been my biggest stride.. That and Deads are two staples of my routine that will never be taken out.  I’m strick on form.. On squats I take my ass to my hams and on squats I don’t bounce the weight on the floor and my legs are never more than shoulder width apart.
I’m at the end of my cut this week. I’ve learend a ton but am ready to start putting some muscle on . I’m going to focus with keeping the body fat in check but I need muslce to help keep the fat off…. I’m staying positive and see the slow progress.. it has been slow a times but days like today make the efforts sweet.

Pink STUFF

darn it i came down with this nasty stomach bug… taking pink stuff trying to bounce back. What a bummer i was feeling great on Monday when I did my workout… Can’t figure out how I got this thing but don’t wish it on my worst of enemies (not that i have any of those…). or heck i’d not even wish it on some of those white sock, white shorts and white shirt wearing folks in the gym… lol.. ok i’lll bounce back … man I gotta go lookup how many carbs are that stuff. oh sheet i home there is not extra sugar… now this is sick isn’t it.. lol

get your MONEY people. black socks will be back after a few days of RR and pink stuff.
