Will it pay off?
As I get older I’m learning to be more patient. I have learned that good thing take time. I have learned to slow down and enjoy the ride a bit. When it comes to my body the patients thing is tough.
I’m being patient and pushing myself in positive ways. I’m throwing the weights with intensity every workout. My cardio is short and to the point after every work out. I get plenty of sleep. I track everything I eat so I can move the scale in the direction I choose. My diet is CLEAN (and boring). I love to have some drinks every now and then but haven’t in months. I read anything and everything to do with fitness, deit and bodybuilding. This keeps me completely confused most of the time (everyone has a different opinion). I’m doing everything right.
The problem is, some days It just feels like I’m making no progress. Now I’m not one to feel sorry for myself but yea, ocassionaly I have these days. Today is one of those days. I thought why am I even doing this. I see all of these people on BB.com with amazing bodies and I wonder, did they have to be patient? Or is it just my body that seems to be in a slow warp. Now I know that most people are not genetically gifted. Probably most are not using gear. So then I have the answer to my question. Yes, these people put in years of work to make their bodies look great. Yes, they eat clean and work out with intinsity. Yes, THEY HAVE BEEN PATIENT and watched their hard work pay off.
Ok, I feel better now.
