Building the Lean type of muscle…
So I’ve been working on a High Protien/ moderate Carb/ low fat diet. I’m still trying to get plenty of calories, so I’m eating a lot. Since I work swing shift at the lumber mill, its been hard to get into the gym more than 2 times a week. But, with my diet and gym stipulations I’ve still been able to manage putting on some size. Not much, but progress non-the-less. I wanna gain wieght but I want to try and stay as cut as possible wile doing it. I know its possible. I’m not going to go on a big bulk and gain a ton of fat then work my ass off to cut only to gaing 5 lbs.
You know? When I started lifting, much the same as anyone else, I was very impatient. Frustration became a very common, almost too common, of an emotion. It’s taken me ten months to finally except the fact that this takes time, And it feels good.

You’re right man….it’s a marathon not a sprint. Given reasonable demands on your body and dedicated muscle training and patience, your body will respond. Keep at it man…good luck. Take it from one who is your exact position two years ago. You’ve got the right attitude, and that’s 90% of the this bodybuilding initiative of ours.
