So, last saturday night (11-26-10) i decided to workout a lot later then disired (11:00pm). I work Sunday-Wednesday 6am-6pm, and i live 60 miles from my place of business, so i usually have to wake up around 4:30a. Well, Saturday night i worked out Legs from 11-1am, i know, pretty stupid. I got home at 1:45a. By the time i tried to go to sleep i couldn't, because i was still hype from my preworkout drink. I managed to get around 35 minutes of sleep. The next morning, i took my cellucor d4 thermo pill, made a protein shake and headed off to work. By the time i got to work i had breakfast (bowl of plain oatmeal mixed w/ protein powder and 6 egg whites.. im currently cutting so around 10a i decided to do 200 push-ups followed by a protein shake. By 12 (lunchtime) i went to 24hr fitness and did some light cardio(20m)+sauna+shower.. right after i had a protein shake, chicken breast+rice+salad. By the time i got off 6:30 it was time to go to the gym. I got there, took some of my preworkout, and started my routine, chest day. As soon as i finished my first set on the bench i noticed the major difference in strength.. I only was able to do 3 chest workouts w/ lower then normal reps... i felt all my efforts were wasted because of my lack of sleep.. The moral of this story, i need AT LEAST 6 hours of sleep to be functional..White flood, superpump, no xplode, coffee, 5hr energy shot, etc. can only little help... NOTHING COMPARES TO SLEEP! just thought ide share. God Bless. BVic
Today was my first day using this product and i must say... good investment. This stuff is pretty sweet though, i think its because i chose the lemonade flavor. i usually spend around an hour at the gym, but today i was there for 2 1/2 hours and i didnt want to leave.. Wish i had a spotter, i would have tried to max on the bench. hope i can sleep tonight..
