This week…

I was somewhat disappointed with my progress photos, though I can’t find a photo of my true start date with my obsession, my start photo is 3 months into diet and a lot of walking and lifting.  Due to my disappointment, I have re-committed myself to cardio.  My dedication to lifting hasn’t wavered, as a matter of fact sometimes it’s hard to make myself take days off.  Back in the old days, we trained (for football) the major muscle groups 3x per week. 

Anyway, had 2 pretty hard sessions on the treadmill the past 2 nights, and plan to push even harder tonight.  It’s funny how a 4 mile walk/run (interval training of sorts) doesn’t fatigue me as much as 35 minutes on the treadmill.  Must be the indoor vs. outdoor thing.

In terms of lifting, I’m taking yesterday and today off.  I’m due for shoulders, but I actually had to do physical labor at work today (not typical) and my shoulders were feeling worn out, so a day off is in order (and it was a lot of heavy lifting, so I kind of got it in).

Will resume Thursday night with a great bicep/tricep workout (supersets)that kicks my ass pretty good, and after 2 weeks have seen some results.  I will have to post the workout later in case others want to try it.
