Haven’t really had a work out in about two weeks. I’ve just been doing push ups and crunches occasionally. I just wish I had some motivation to get on that treadmill. I’ve considered buying a jump rope with weighted handles. I just haven’t done it because I have huge boobs and it hurts when I jump. I actually forgot how much it hurts until I started doing this kickboxing class where we did jumping jacks in between excercises. Whenever we as a class have to do them I feel really lazy because I’m the only person who does "low" jumping jacks instead of actually jumping.

I had been using the school gyms off and on for a few years. I never went regularly but when I did go I usually pushed myself pretty hard. I could easily knock out 1.5 miles on an elliptical (even though I hate running and all running equipment) then go lift weights for a solid 40 minutes.
Last year I wasn’t in school at all so I spent the year getting fat and lazy. I decided I wanted to change that a while ago so I bought myself a weightbench and set up the treadmill that’s been in my mom’s garage forever. Now, I have this home gym that I use with more regularity than my school gym but it’s impossible for me to stay motivated while I’m doing it. I have difficulty staying on my treadmill for more than .5 miles because I start getting bored and stop moving my feet. It’s actually so bad that I feel like I’m going to pass out from boredom. Then when I get to the weights I do maybe 3 sets at an average weight and I’m done. Plus since I only have a barbell and a simple bench I don’t feel like I’m capable of getting a full workout so I end up doing almost nothing.
I still feel "accomplished" for turning off South Park or Judge Judy or whatever and spending 20 minutes working out. I’m taking a cardio kick boxing class this semester so I’m getting some really exercise. But, I don’t actually feel like I’m making any progress. We’ll see how it goes I guess.
