P90X
We’ve all seen them, those infamous infomercials on P90X. Well, I decided to give it a try. I mean, why not? I really can’t lift right now due to all my injuries and I want to stay active and the guy hocking the product is my age and he looks amazing. Besides, who wouldn’t want to be able to do THAT many pull ups? I know I would!
Well I am into my second week of P90X and I have to be perfectly honest…it’s kicking my ass! What the hell was I thinking? This workout is no picnic…it’s brutal. But, I love it! I mean, I really love it! I can’t wait to see the transformation my body makes when I complete the 90 day program…assuming I am able to stick w/ it for that long.
Wish me luck!

I hear ya! I must admit though that I like going to the gym. I like the atmosphere. I like getting out of the house (I work at home). Nevertheless I ordered P90x and have made 4 of the DVD’s a regular part of my routine. Kenpo, Ab Ripper, Plyometrics, Core Synergistics. They are just tough. Like you I love ‘em. I’ll probably try the others eventually since I have them but I’m in no rush. Good luck!

To Damien12341: I too miss the gym atmosphere and workout partners. I doubt that I would ever consider doing P90X w/ someone else. I think I would be too embarrassed.
To Chasing40: I will check out that forum, thanks!

Go at it biggin’!!
It was my brother’s workout of choice when in the service. I have to admit that it would kick my @ss right now too! I do love the abs workout.
