ARE YOU OVERLY AGRESSIVE??
EXTREME IS GOOD ... BUT THERE IS A LINE WHERE EXTREME BECOMES COUNTER PRODUCTIVE! NUTRITIONALLY MANY PEOPLE WILL UNDEREAT WANTING "FAST RESULTS" = FAIL!! LIFTING PEOPLE WILL LIFT TOO MUCH WANTING "FAST RESULTS" = FAIL! WORKING OUT HARD ,EATING STRICT ARE BOTH ESSENTIAL BUT IN THE CASE OF WORKING OUT FORM IS EVERYTHING ! REMEMBER QUALITY OVER QUANTITY!! I BLEW OUT MY RIGHT ARM LAST YEAR CURLING 195 = GAME OVER !! LESSON LEARNED ,BECAUSE I THOUGHT THAT THE ONLY WAY TO HIT 20" WAS TO LIFT SUPER HEAVY,BUT I HIT 20" ANYWAY BY FOCUSING ON MY FORM AFTER I HAD NO OTHER CHOICE! SO DO IT RIGHT AND AVOID PERMANENT DAMAGE ! REMEMBER ITS ABOUT GETTN RESULTS NOT ABOUT GETTN HURT!! AND NUTRITIONALLY SO MANY PEOPLE THAT ARE REALLY SERIOUS ABOUT GETTN RIPPED END UP CUTTING TOO MANY CALORIES WHICH SETS THEM UP FOR FEEDING FRENZIES,SUGAR DROPS ETC ETC! WHICH = FAIL . SLOW AND STEADY WINS THE RACE!! THIS IS MY FOURTH WEEK AT THIS CUT: DOWN 8 LBS, BUT I HAVE LOST ALL FAT AND HAVE KEPT MY MUSCLE! THE SCALE IS JUST A TRIVIAL OBJECT ANYWAY BECAUSE SO MANY THINGS CAN EFFECT WEIGHT FROM WATER WEIGHT,TO WEIGHT IN YOUR COLON ETC SO DON'T LET THE SCALE DEFINE YOU !! LOOK AT PEOPLE ON HERE SAME HIGHT AND WEIGHT BUT TOTALLY DIFFERENT LOOK ! 1 JACKED UP 1 SOFT AS A MARSHMELLOW! SO TAKE THE TIME FIND NUTRITIONAL AND FITNESS PLANS THAT YOU CAN "LIVE" WITH AND DON'T HURT YOURSELF !!! THIS IS ABOUT GETTING BETTER NOT KILLING YOURSELF!!
This is great! Thanks for posting and sharing your experiences and great progress that has come from being smart about training and nutrition! This is a good reminder that it's not just about how you look on the outside but what you are doing to the inside that makes the biggest difference.
Lifting too heavy too fast caused me to herniate discs in my back. Now I have to live with the pain everyday for the rest of my life.
