I can’t believe how fast these 21 weeks have gone by! WOW!! I don’t seem to have enjoyed it as much as my first pregancy. With my first child, I had no idea about eating healthy and training hard. This time around I’ve been a lot harder on myself. The weight gain plays a mental game with you that is hard to fight sometimes. I have to keep telling myself that the competition stage will always be there, and to just enjoy this time in my life. I have refused to get on the scale and am proud to say that at 21 weeks pregnant my old workout clothes are still fitting…well except the tight tank tops, but the pants still fit great. So I think my weight gain is going well, seem to be gaining in just the right places.
My diet usually starts out great in the morning….Protein powder in my coffee, some fruit and some organic cereal with skim milk, then off to spinning and weight training. Post workout meal is usually great, but by the time the evening rolls around all my discipline is gone. I know it’ll all come back after pregnancy. The women in the gym tease me saying that when I go into Labor I’ll sneeze and little Layla will be born LOL I can only hope so!!
I think the hubby is getting sick of hearing how fat I feel, but I guess that’s part of it. Well I’m half way there, and hope to be rockin’ a hard body again in no time.
