"My goal is to have abs like I did when I was 21, but maintain quality muscle and size. I want to have the self confidence that comes with knowing that you look good on the outside, and feel good on the inside."

April 8th. Update.

Oh what an insane and crazy week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I usually write in this thing every day, but this past week has been a little manic and bizarre, so I have taken some time off.  I have still been doing my crazy cardio, but I did miss a few days because of everything going on in my personal life, and I haven’t been lifting every day for the same reasons, but the days that I have lifted, I have felt EXTREMELY strong and have been lifting really heavy, so I think my body has enjoyed the rest.  I weighed myself today and the scale said 225!!!!!!!  I’m going to seek a second opinion lol, cuz that would mean that I lost like 10 or 11 pounds in the past two weeks and that seems like a lot.  My abs are starting to show a tiny tiny bit tho, and I feel like I look thinner.  I still need to do more ab work and take pictures so that I can compare and contrast, but I am positive that I look way different than I did back in January.  My pants are all falling off of me now because of the weight I have lost, and I had to find a belt to wear haha!

I would love to go into detail about what is going on personally, but I am still very unsure exactly what is happening, and I guess I should wait to be excited or bummed out, or anything else until it is all sorted out.  In the meantime, my job hunt officially begins tomorrow!!!!  I am nearly broke now lol, so if I don’t do something now, I will be without gas money, food money, cell phone bill money, and rent money in a few weeks.  My birthday is also coming up in 10 days.  I’m not excited about it, but I’m not down about it either.  I am only going to be 28, and life is so long and wonderful, that I am still very young, and next year when I am going to be turning 29, I will be looking back at this year with pride at how I turned a corner in my life and made strides towards setting myself up for the future.  Until all of this chaos is settled, I’m not sure how my schedule will look, but I am going to continue to try and push myself harder than ever in the gym and hopefully I can take some pics around my birthday so I can compare them with new pics that I will take sometime around June 1st.  I am also planning on writing my workout info down in more detail, like I used to, so that I can start keeping track of weight, reps, sets, etc. again so that I know that I am continually making progress and pushing myself harder each and every time in the gym in order to be better.  So that will officially begin the day after my bday, but I may start doing it next week just so I am getting into the habit.  As for my double cardio quest, I think that I can still accomplish it, but I need to do double every day for the next 10 days and that should put me at my goal.  Once I am working, my entire schedule will need to be rearranged to fit in school, work, friends, gym, and everything else, so it will probably be a little stressful at 1st, but I will be happy once I am able to fall into a routine with it all.  Anyway, time for a shower!
