Back on Track with my DIET

Well it is good to back on track with my diet last week sucked but that was last week I am only looking forward.  When to the gym on Sunday not my regular time.  I will problem get some flak for this form the short guys (I am 6’3”).  I call him the gym stocker. He tries to talk to all of the girls while they are working-out by sitting on the machine next to them and starting up a conversation.  I think in a little man thing that makes him strut around the gym like a peacock drinking a energy drink . I was a cardio day so this was quite funny to watch better that what was on the TV.  This went on for my whole 1 hour cardio section.  He did not lift one weight. On my way out I over hear him talking to one woman that he had a great workout and was very tired!! 

 

OK back to my diet. My wife was very happy that I was back on track no more gas.  I felt 1000 time better by Sunday 2 clean day of eating.   This year the kid and I started and organic garden for fresh vegetable and to be able to freezer some for the winter.  Just made a bunch of pesto puree without any oil and frozen most of it from the winter time when everything is not fresh.  I have tomatoes and Jalapeño peppers coming out of my ear’s so decided to can some salsa made about 4 gallons for later use.  I still have a lot of tomatoes left over. Nothing like fresh native tomatoes not the crappie no taste one from the store.

Bad Part of Being a Chef on a Bodybuilder workout plan!!!!!

Well I had a Certified Master Chef come from the CIA in New York to teach my staff about world cuisine. He did a great job. The bad part about it was that my staff was so proud of the thing they made they kept tell my here Chef try this.

Monday Italian

Tuesday Mexican

Wednesday Chinese

Thursday Thai

Friday Korean Japanese.

 

Plus every night we were taken out to an area restaurant —tapas, New Haven pizza, Mexican. Needless to so that it was a great culinary experience but a crappie week for my diet. I feel like a gain 5 pound but it didn’t very bloated and wicked gas!!!!!!!! I did not miss a signal workout all week maybe that is why I did not gain anything. Tomorrow back on a serious diet need to get down to 220 and those love handle who every thought of that name should be shot

Working Out Help My In The Kitchen

On a diet note at work we are expanding are organic bakeshop program to 80 percent of your production.  We made a major breakthrough yesterday.  After much trial and a lot of error we solved the protein contain of organic flour issue .  Organic flour has about 15 percent less protein then regular flour. This protein when mixed gives you gluten when cooked it becomes hard and firm. This keep you cake from falling. So we took out the whole egg and add 100 percent egg white therefore increasing the protein container. This was the 41 time we made this recipe and NOW it works.  We also are doing stealth health, cutting out Tran’s fats, simple sugar and just extra calories. The whole goal is to make thing health , have lot of flavor and let the kid be none the wiser.  So the working out can help you in all more of life

Well one week down for just a cardio and leg workout. MY chest is feeling about 85 percent better so one more week will not kill me, But at my gym the cardio machine are all up stair overlooking the weight room.  I just look down there and think how great it would be to get back to feeling the pump of the weight.  Peoples say that it is not a rush I disagree you feel something inside that is hard to explain to someone who does not work out.

My older boys have started their summer workouts for soccer with the new high school coach. The last one was BAD didn’t care and lacked discipline.  The new coach the first day set the tone he said “that if is you are 15 early you are on time, on time you are late, late GO HOME”. How this guy I LIKE.  Cardio training 3 day a week at 6:00 am or 5:45 if you are on time.  They had to Chelsea’s or herbe’s in hockey. They had to wall sit for 6 minutes.  Kid came home one said killer workout (the hockey player) the other (play station pro) was cry it was too hard.

Role model who me?

Well I check my body space page today and someone left me a comment about how I was a role model.  I said who me?  I usually say that to other people.  That was a great feeling that shoot threw my whole body, it was like working out at the gym.  Some time it is hard to see that you are making improvement when you look at yourself every day and only look to see what you can improve on.  That is way this is a great site that everyone and anyone can motivate people.  I feel better that the day before that I am a winner.  When to a meeting today not in a chef coat and everyone said I looked great and complemented me on how well I looked.  I think that it is time to go buy some new clothes. Still have to shop and the big and tall men’s store but now just have to think about the TALL not the BIG.  Maybe it is time for a new pair of 38 jeans can’t remember the last time that number came into my mind.

My chest is feeling better but it is tempting to go back to lifting weight another 10 day before I even try. Have been doing a lot of cardio and leg shaking lower body workouts.  My leg are looking good just need to work on the inner thigh area (there we go again with what is not good)

Great Cardio workout

I stopped feeling sorry for myself and did a long cardio workout today and felt great dit 95 minutes on level 5 on the cross fit incline. I was watching the tour de france now those guy ride day in day out today stage was 357 KM. Just watching those guys go at 55 KM per hour for over 6 hour is sick.

Today Sucks Think I Pulled Something

was making great progress in the gym over the last few weeks.  After warmin gup today I felt a pain in my chest muscle on the side. Boy it hurts think a pulled something so need to let it rest for about a week DAMMMMMMM. So all is not lost Cardio and rocking leg workouts soild for a week and we will see how i feel after that back to light workouts

Turkey Burger

well i think that my kid are starting to change their diet.  we when shopping for the fourth of july bbq at BJ.  I thould the kid to get some burger meat  and they came back with ground turkey??" we like this better" ok I said. next to the breakfast cereral "let get go lean chrunch" they said. so ther is hope with these younger kids yet.  they comlained every day about the school food so I call the board of education to talk to them about ther food standards they said who is this guy and what does this guy know about food. I then explained to they who i was and executive chef at the major ivy leasgue school in new haven.  I now had they attention i said i would help then design a better menu for the kid and it will not cost anymore than they where presently pay.  they said how i have contact with local farmers to would sell they product to they threw at majr product supplier they already used. we would inform the kid as to where the real food was coming from.  Kid want to eat food that tastes good if it is food for them great. We call thsi Stealth Health"
