Proud Father Moments

Everyone thing being a chef is great job some time there is a few draw backs, Well after tasting all of that crap food ,  yesterday I think the my wife wants to kill me.  I had the worst gas EVER felt like I ate an oil drum.  My stomach was killing me all night and blotted was not the word. 

Got up in the am and felt better but I need to get to the gym and sweat off some of this crap I put into my body yesterday.  I did a killer Biceps workout!!!! Those babies will be sore in the morning but did I feel pumped and proud of myself.  As I worked out I looked in the mirror and crap I am starting to get my muscles back.  This is the stuff that makes you more motivated.  Next was Hiit cardio and boy did I need it after about 3 minutes in to 15 minute workout( 90 seconds on 90 seconds off) I swear that I could smell all of the fried crappy food it almost made me sick.  I was sweating like a pig must have been all the salt in the food.  If felt much better after my workout

One of my son started workout for soccer about 2 months ago. He was a little on the heavy side but decided that he need to get into shape to take over the starting soccer goalie for our high school team.  I have never seen this determination from him before!!! His indoor team was just practicing so last night was his first game on the indoor season.  He was a little nervous but got in net.  I was SHOCKED how much the gym has payed off for him.  He was making diving saves that 2 months ago would have been a goal.  His self confidence was way up which helped his game a lot.  This is one of those proud day moments

On of my freinds sent my an old photo of the old fat me, holy crap was I fat. Thats me on the left.  I posted it as a progress photo to show that if you set your mind to it you and only can do it.  Had a bad day a work spent 7 hour preparing for a photo shoot for Restuarnt new on a new concept that we are rolling out in one of our retail location on campus.  It is a stealth health concept ( make it taste great and by the way is it very healthy for you.  the I a vendor show up with all kind of crappy fried food, had o try it, that is the bad parto of my job!!!!!!

Post seizure workouts are rocking

I was all set to post new progress photo’s so I got the camera and the darn thing took a crazy photo weird lines in so i call canon and they said it was a recall on the modle for just that thing. I will be without at camera for about 2 week whic suck.  On the workout front thing are getting back to the way they where before my seizure!!!! bench is back to 195×10 leg press is 410×10 also starting to see some back muscle just need to get ride of those love handle they are holding on for dear life!

Back On track the Old School Way

We It is back to the gym after 4 week off and what a workout. The hardest thing to do is not push yourself coming back from an injury. Did chest today did 3 set (115×10 135x 10 145 x10) this is a far cry from 285 x10 for my first set, but Rome was not built in a day . Slow and steady win the race. People have been very help with the nutrition side of m workout plan. Got a lot of good advice and what supplement to take and when to take them. They have linked the cause of my seizure to fat burning pill that I took ONCE and will never take again!!!!!! Looks like it just hard work that got me to where I am now and where I will be in the future. So a lesson learned there is not magic pill!! Will hope to back up to full speed after the New Year but only my body will tell. Have not gain any weight while recovering took this crappie med Keppra the side effect are BAD was not hungry had to force myself to eat, bad mood swing and atop of it all left like I drank a 12 pack of beer at 6 a. and 6 pm. But all of that is behind me now. Just a natural supplement, protein powder and good old faction sweat.

going to see the doc about my seziures tommorow. hoping that he will take me off this crapey meds (keppra) makes you feel high when you take DON"T LIKE THAT AT ALL. Might have something to do with being a control freak.  have not gaine to muck weight about 8 pound up to 228 so i am pretty happy with that. Just miss the rush from working out and feeling health.  Starting back on my doctor approve diet 40 % protein 40 % carbs and 20 % fat. Carbs are from complex carbs not refined flour, potatos and that kind of stuff.  I am a nervious about this visit.  Plus may be he will let me be driven around by my son with his learners permit( gettin his lience in about 3 weeks) feel like a caged aniamal in mmy on house with no freedom

well on day two of drinking 2 gallions of water a day with oout working out.  I make me feel a whole lot better and flush out my system of all the crap that is in there. but need to get most of my water in me before 4 pm or i get up 2-3 time a night kind of shot the whole idea of getting a good nights sleep

Well the Doc cleared me to go back to work on Tuesday. Good getting kind of board at home.  Well go on a pair of size 38 pant yesturday and they fell off looked my some of my son friends with the pant hanging off of thery ass.  I think that is is all muscle so this is only for the short term.  Doc has put me on a 3000-3500 diet so i can make sure that my blood sugar does not get to low through out the day plus I need to drink 1.5 gallons of fluids on none workout day and 2-2.5 gallons on workout day.  I think that I will become a dam fish

Another day on the path to getting better

well today I fell a lot better then the day before. I would like to thank the people on BS for there support.  Sometime life gives you are curveball.  I think that I got this one for a reason but not sure what it is.  Well my ribs are killing me because of all thing my abs muscles are tight and pulling in my stomach and my ribs. this is the one time I would like to have a fat gut with not muscle.  Have a Doc appointment next week to see about going back to work. My wife is starting to say i am getting better because I am become a pain in the ass for bordome

Had a ****ty week

Last saturday just got home from the gym and standing a the sink and had a seizure .The doc think that my blood sugar bottomed out.  Really suck was making great headway getting to shape only 2 pound to go to get to my goal of 220. Now I have 2 cracked rib and a bunch of pills to take on a daily basis.  Doc thinks that the pill will help me out but can’t drive for 3 months and maybe able to get back to the gym in about 30 days.

Back on Track with my DIET

Well it is good to back on track with my diet last week sucked but that was last week I am only looking forward.  When to the gym on Sunday not my regular time.  I will problem get some flak for this form the short guys (I am 6’3”).  I call him the gym stocker. He tries to talk to all of the girls while they are working-out by sitting on the machine next to them and starting up a conversation.  I think in a little man thing that makes him strut around the gym like a peacock drinking a energy drink . I was a cardio day so this was quite funny to watch better that what was on the TV.  This went on for my whole 1 hour cardio section.  He did not lift one weight. On my way out I over hear him talking to one woman that he had a great workout and was very tired!! 

 

OK back to my diet. My wife was very happy that I was back on track no more gas.  I felt 1000 time better by Sunday 2 clean day of eating.   This year the kid and I started and organic garden for fresh vegetable and to be able to freezer some for the winter.  Just made a bunch of pesto puree without any oil and frozen most of it from the winter time when everything is not fresh.  I have tomatoes and Jalapeño peppers coming out of my ear’s so decided to can some salsa made about 4 gallons for later use.  I still have a lot of tomatoes left over. Nothing like fresh native tomatoes not the crappie no taste one from the store.
