Yesterday was a ROUGH day! I was so glad when JOhn got home so I could head out to the gym and let him deal with the kids!! I love them, but not every day is a great day and yesterday was sure one of them. So I did a back workout:
Barbell deadlift 100×10,90×12,90×12,80×15,70×20
Straight arm lat pulldown 50×12,50×11,40×15,40×12
Decline Pullover 30×15,25×15,20×20,15×20
Lat pulldown 70×10,60×12,50×15,40×20
After I was done, I thought I might have gone a little high on deadlift, but I feel fine this morning, so it was okay. My shoulders are a little sore/stiff this morning though. When John and I got up I had a migraine (though I suspect it was more of a tension headache now) so I took one of my pills and settled into the recliner. Couldn’t get comfy, so went back to bed and had the heating pad on my shoulders. That helped at lot. Now I have to figure out when I can workout today.
I kept track of my diet yesterday and here it is:
Coconut protein shake, 1 cup of cheerios with 1/2 cup of fat free milk
360 cal. 1.8g fat 46g carbs 41.5g protein
Lemon protein bar
160 cal. 3g fat 24g carbs 14g protein
Escalloped chicken & noodles
450 cal. 22g fat 43g carb 19g protein
Chocolate pudding, 1 medium banana
228 cal. 4g fat 48g carb 3g protein
turkey tetrazzini
450 cal 23g fat 38g carb 23 g protein
post-workout/pre-bed protein shake
320 cal. .6g fat 20g carb 59g protein
Totals:
1968 cal. 54.5g fat (yikes!) 219g carbs 159.5g protein
92oz. water and I took my vitamins
Obviously I can do better (like not having 2 frozen dinners in one day), but i am not going to beat myself up over going over a little. I’m just going to promise myself to do better today. Okay, now I need to go get an XS so I can wake up more! Those migraine pills make me feel super drained!
