After struggling with this stupid cold for the past week, I think I am finally getting over it! yeah! Not pushing myself helped. It also helped that John had his 5 days off and called in sick last Tuesday. Anyway, getting ready for Christmas Eve dinner tonight. I will finish my last 2 days of my split Thursday & Friday, take a day off and then start over on Sunday. We went shopping Friday and I got some new clothes from Sarah Jssica Parker’s BITTEN line at Steve & Barry’s. I was able to fit into 12’s in the dressing room, but a couple days later they were snug. I tried to eat good while we were out of town, but think I was/am a little bloated. So I really need to get back on track so I can wear them comfortably!! lol It was nice though, to buy 3 new shirts and a couple pants for $50!

Man I have been so tired lately! The kids have woken up a lot and then getting up with John at 4am is taking its toll on me. Didn’t get up again this morning and i didn’t workout last night (an old friend came by who we haven’t seen awhile). I’m not going to beat myself up over it though, just learn and move on. The days are becoming very busy with Christmas coming up. I’m excited for Christmas! I love seeing my girls open their presents. So I am going to try to be as consistent as I can about working out and definitely about what I eat. John’s brother is coming home, so he is taking a bunch of days off while he is here so that will help me get my workouts in without having to get up at the crack of dawn. Alright, gonna go make some cookie dough and get the day started!

Didn’t make the wisest food choices towards the end of the week (doughnuts, mac &cheese ) and slacked off about working out. I didn’t workout Saturday (had massive cramps) or this morning (kids were sick). Going to head out to the garage as soon as John walks in the door tonight. I REALLY need a baby monitor so I can hear the kids at least. Anyway, So I am up 1 lb, which isn’t a big deal since I know I wasn’t as committed to eating clean towards the end of the week. Going up to see some friends in Spokane this week and I had been hoping to be closer to 150lb, but oh well. I still look different than I did when I was there last year. So Triceps & Shoulders & calves today, back on Monday, Chest on Tuesday, Legs on Wednesday, Biceps on Thursday, probably take Friday off then do Triceps, Shoulders, & calves on Saturday and be caught up finally. I HATE being off of the days i am supposed to do certain things. So I’ll keep my workout tracker caught up as I do my workouts.

Today was biceps day. Don’t think I need to go up on weight yet. It really torched my arms! OWW! Took yesterday off. Didn’t eat too well, had half a doughnut and some mac & cheese, but I also didn’t stuff myself. Gotta finish up Christmas shopping and start wrapping presents.MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

Well, my sister backed out on me and John won’t be home until late. Though, my brother is coming over to use the computer so I might con him into keeping an eye on the girls for 30 min so I can workout.
Today has been better than yesterday. I only had 2 cookies after making 3 dozen. Tomorrow we will be making more, so I’ll need to have plenty of good food in front of me. I need to get this done, I am finally under 160lbs and it seems to have happened all of a sudden and I really want to keep my progress going. I REFUSE to spend another summer being uncomfortable in my clothes and my body.
Since John is back on days, I am going to try to work out right after he leaves at 4:30am. Then I won’t have to worry about the kids waking up early. I’ll have to have an energy drink ASAP after I wake up so I’ll have some energy. Anyway…off to make dinner for the kiddies!

Yesterday started good, but ended with an overwhelmed, stressed out me! I had my nephew which added to the craziness.BUT I didn’t turn to food for comfort like I normally would! One more step of progress! YEA me! Didn’t sleep well, so just didn’t have it in me to workout this morning. So my sister is going to come by later so I can workout today. Thankgoodness! I need the stress reliever! I did good food wise aside from 1/2 cup of mac + cheese.
As far as training I am trying an experiment. For the next 7 weeks (I’ve already done 1 week) I am only going to do my weight training program, which is set up as a circuit. But other than that, I am not going to do any extra cardio. The 8 weeks after that I will be doing weights & cardio. Not sure of a program yet. I will figure that out when it comes closer. Of course I will be eating cleaner also during both 8 weeks periods. Any suggestions for the second 8 weeks would be great!
So far this is how I’ve been eating:
meal 1: Protein shake with 1/2 cup oatmeal or 10 grain ceral, 1-2 cups coffee with some creamer
meal 2: small handfull of almonds & dried cranberries
meal 3: 1- 6oz can of tuna with another 1/2 cup cereal from breakfast
meal 4: protein shake
meal 5: chicken sandwich on whole wheat bun
meal 6: 8oz fat free yogurt
Sometimes, once a week I’ll have a latte. Last week I had 2 lattes. My sis-in-law brought me one, then the next day my sister brought me one. Anyway, I REALLY need to start journaling what I eat and keeping track of macros to make sure I’m at a good place. Will try that today. And I’ll update my workout tracker after I workout this evening!

its Monday and I am a day off in my workouts. Wasn’t able to get my back workout in yesterday, so I had to do it today. Need to go up in weight on barbell deadlift, decline dumbbell pullover, and lat pulldown next week. Have a bunch of Christmas stuff to get done this week! We’re making cookies for a bunch of our friends & family, so I will be trying to not eat the dough or too many cookies! lol Going to work hard on keeping my diet cleaner today and getting enough water.

I weighed in today and was 155lbs! I am so happy! So since Oct. 27 I have lost 6lbs. My BF% is about the same as it has been. Didn’t workout his morning. I had a sick kiddie in bed with me all night, so I am going to workout later in the day. It’s Back day! Anyway….I’m happy with my results so far. I’d really like to see my BF% come down A LOT more than anything. That’s what I’m asking Santa for Christmas! lol I know, lots of hard work and dedication on my diet.

Had John look over my workout sheets for the last week and give me his opinion and he said it looks like I was sandbagging on a few days. Which is true. So I am going to increase the intensity this week. I did finish up my workout for the week today instead of yesterday. It was hard! I did shoulders & traps this afternoon. I really can’t lift much when I do shoulders. Like 10lbs and less except for shrugs.
Found an some old measurements from 2006. I think I have lost on most things.
