I am going through this right now, some health issues with a family member has taken a lot of my time and attention. i use the gym as an escape for an hour and a half each day.
I also had to set new goals for myself that are "outside of the box" for me. Something new to keep my interest there.
switch your program around , keep it fresh. download some new songs that get u going.get a fitness mag. just stay positive, it happens to all of us. good luck
I’ve been hardcore since I was 12, my first three months in the gym involved me going in at 6am and not leaving until 12 monday through friday. 30 hours a week in the gym. Went from 115 to 145. I never lost that drive through high school Obviously i got smart about my time in there, but I’m used to a six day on one day off split. After just turning 21 and doing my first show I can say yes it is very easy to lose focus. But you know what helps, always have a very personal goal your striving for. Something that will make you stand out and be accreditted. Music definetely helps also if you can ever find a training parter that shares your passion it would make a world of difference. As far as a routine goes if it aint broke dont fix it.
Thank you for the post. I just seem to start and well with my diet and as the day goes, I end up messing up.
I have been through this before but never lasted more than a week. I just got back. Now its been over a month and I can’t seem to get my act together.
I was stressed with school but finally this week I am done with that. I dont know if its a combination of things and stress.
Will I alway lose focus, I really wasnt the type of focusing thing. I once eat clean for about the most thing I could remember is 4 days or at most 1 week. I really have carving for junk food especially Moutian Dew, my addiction
sometimes you need to layback so you wont burn and sometimes you have alot of things one you mind that you health is less important right now.
Everybody has "THE ANSWER" but the biggest problem is doing it
I guess this can be common for some people. I am actively trying to correct things and get back into it. It doesn’t help that the weather is cold and gloomy.
I did update my ipod with some new music and am going to start with some cardio for the week maybe 2 weeks to start to get back into things. Then I will start my lifting too.
