The results are in….

Well I am super happy, I got my body fat tested and droped 9 lbs and went from 25.3%bf to 21.9.  I am super happy.  I get it checked every 3 months.  All my hard work and diet is paying off.  

My goal is to get to 18-19% body fat by the next time I get it checked.  Maybe then i will get motivated to do my first competition or I can always wait.  One goal at a time seems to work best.

Today I feel a lot better, I had a good food day yesterday and manage to stay within my numbers.  I also made it to the gym.  I was not planning on it but i got my butt in there.  There was a point in the night I thought I should just stay home.  I looked my self out of my car and it was cold as shit trying to get my keys, of course when I gave up I found my spare and my oldest daughter said, mom you should go to the gym a release that anger…lol…so I manage 30 min of the spinning class and 20 min on the stride.  I also did a little triceps and then went home.  

Below is my food log for the day of yesterday.  Today is leg day and I can’t wait to go to the gym already.  :)

supplements 8:00am

1 Cup of egg beaters 8:30am
1/4 cup Muesli cereal
Hot Green Tea

1 scoop of vanilla MD  12:30pm
1/2 cup of cottage cheese            
cashews

supplements 2:30pm

5 oz chicken 4:30pm
1 small cucumber

2 oz of turkey 6:15pm

spin class 30 min/20 min stride cardio
xtend

5 oz chicken 9:30pm
3oz of spinach

1 scoop of vanilla MD  10:30pm
1/4 cup of cottage cheese

Hello,
Well today I am not posting anything about my work out.  I did go to the gym on friday and saturday I barely made it.  I have been tired and with no energy it seems.  I am trying to stick things out but have been feeling down.  I hate this feeling.  I can’t seem to snap out of it, Ever since friday evening.  It didnt help that I messed up my diet all weekend and I was sick to my stomach.  
I spent most of my day cooking for the week yesterday and I didn’t even feel like it.  I kept thinking to myself, why am I doing this?  I know why, its just seemed like pointless and I was just tired.  8 months spending every single sunday cooking and cooking.  

Sorry, just venting…..

Food log 1/17/08

Good monring, afternoon or evening (depending on what part of the world your in) :)

Yesterday was a cardio day only. I went to the gym and did 45 min on the stride machine. Kept my heart rate between 130-150. It felt very long but I did it.

It was also a lower calorie day and I kind of messed it up at the end of the day. I was so hungry during my cardio and right after. I kept sipping on water and more water.

I had my dinner and a hour later I was just hungry and gave in to a granola bar. :(

Anyway, I am happy today is not a low carb day. I am starving. I guess somedays is harder than other.  I try to tune out my stomach and just deal with it.  

I have also been trying to drink more hot green tea and it helps sometimes.

Below is my not all that great food log, but it could have been worst.

supplements 8:00am

2 oz of turkey deli turkey breast
Hot Green Tea
1 tsp pb
1/2 Ezekial Muffin

1/2 Ricotta muffin 11:25am
coffee

12 oz beef and broccoli         1:30pm
2 cups of mixed green beans and carrots

supplements 2:30pm
hot tea

1 1/2 Scoops of MD Protein 4:30pm
1/2 cup of cottage cheese            

45 min cardio

5 oz chicken 7:30pm
3 cups of broccoli

Granola bar 9:00pm
coffee

supplements 10:00pm

My Food Log

Yesterday was a higher carb day so I was very happy. After I got out of the gym I was starving, and kind of shaky.  I had a protein cookie right away to help.

Below is my food log.  supplements 8:30am

1 Cup of egg whites 9:00am
2 oz of turkey deli turkey brest
1/4 cup Muesli cereal
Hot Green Tea

1/2 cup of brown rice 12:30pm
5 ozGarlic Sauted Shrimp
2 cups of mixed green beans and carrots
sugar free jello

Lite protein pancakes 3:30pm
1 tbsp pb

Legs/20 min cardio
xtend

oatmeal protein cookie 8:30pm

4oz chicken 9:00pm
2 cups of mixed green beans and carrots

1 1/2 Scoops of MD Protein 9:30pm
1/2 cup of cottage cheese

Leg Day

Thursday, January 17th, 2008

Well good morning,
Yesterday was a leg day and I felt a little all over the place.  The gym was super crowded and I hate waiting around, so I did a lot of walking in between sets. I still don’t feel too good about my Romainain dead lift.  I don’t feel them as much in the hamstring area and I always feel like I am donig them wrong.  I have been told i have good from but i don’t feel that burn in my hamstrings.  Any suggetions on this would be helpful.  Comments on my work out will be good too…:)

I felt super good yesterday, it was a high carb day so I really was in a good mood.  
I did back and triceps and really wanted to do some more back but stopped and did the damn triceps. LOL I need to work on these big time.
