What to do under extreme emotional pressure?!?!?!?
Ok so here it goes…. all of my final divorce paperwork is getting finalized FINALLY!!! Its been a rough road… started a couple of weeks ago and at the moment I am in the midst of it. I am so off with sleeping, eating and training… I am so out of routine and just trying to deal with everything at the moment..
Part of me says to push myself back into my routines but the other half of me says to take it easy- let this pass then get on with it..
Anyway, I just felt the need to put it out there

Never, ever give up your goals, or your workouts for something negative. You keep on keeping on until you cannot.. Then you will look back and say.. "I’m glad I went for it". Your life? is yours.. first! Live it.. You’ll do well..

Divorce is stressful enough. My advice (not that it’s worth that much) would be to stay active, but not to focus so much on training that it creates additional stress. You should give most of your energy to what makes you and your daughter the happiest. Once you’ve adjusted to the “new normal” and the emotional stress is pretty much behind you, then you can get more specific. You should still bust your ass as it helps to relieve a little of the stress, but don’t kick yourself for those days when your heart doesn’t seem to be in it.
