Ok, this time last year, I had my cholesterol checked because heart disease runs in my family. Diabetes also does. Last year, I was on a road to destruction because my cholesterol was 513 (not a good thing)! That’s right, I was a walking grease machine! I’m proud to anounce that as of today, my cholesterol level is 190!!! That’s right, 190! This just goes to show that anything is possible!!! Now for the second phase of getting healthy, that’s losing 26 lbs!!! I want to lose it by the end of June. I figure if I lose 5 a week, I will get there! I just have to eat right and train hard! Failure is not an option! Hope everyone is doing well and training hard! God bless!!!

Ok, well as some of you know it’s been a loooooong hard road for me after being injured for over a year. Since I’ve been healed up, I’ve lost around 15 lbs. and now wear a size 34" waist in softball pants. I used to wear 36". Well, me and a guy on my travel team both lost the same amout of weight and had to have our pants made special because they don’t make them that small….that’s what they told us…just wait, it gets better. So I went to my Spanish class Monday night and wore my work out pants cause I thought, "Well, I’ll wear this just to make sure that my pants don’t come in today." Well, the softball pants did come in and I went to change during the game cause I got there right at game time. Yeah, so, anyway, I go to change into my new softball pants and guess what??……They made them size 24" waist!!! I was in a hurry to put them on so I didn’t notice until I tried to put them on and the pant leg only came up half-way up!! I held the pants up while I was changing and looked at them and just busted out laughing. So not only were mine size 24" waist, my friend’s was too! I thought, "Who in their right mind would think that a grown man who plays softball/baseball would wear a size 24" waist?!? I mean, I’m laughing at this point cause this is the dumbest thing I’ve ever seen lol! So now, I have to wait another 2 weeks for my pants to be made. Anyway, just thought I would share that with you guys. Have a great one!

Ok, some of you know that I’m taking my second semester of four semesters of Spanish. Well, I’ve been noticing that I’ve been speaking and typing in spanish a lot more. So, if you get a message from me that is in Spang-lish, I hope that you will understand why lol. Hasta luego mis amigos!

Well, first I want to thank you guys for checking up on me with my current situation. I greatly appreciate it and you all mean the world to me! Thank you for being there for me to talk to! I went back to the doctor yesterday and she told me that I’m now able to lift and do some running, but I have to take it easy. I have to do very light lifting, which she stated meant lifting about 5 lbs to start off. She told me the pain that I’m having basically was going to be there for the rest of my life, but I know I can handle it now that I know what it is that is wrong. So, what does all this mean? It means, that I’m going to get my but in the best shape I’ve ever been in! However, I’m going to re-do my whole work out plan. I’m going to do more core work and back work along with cardio. That doesn’t mean I’m going to neglect my other muscles, just means I have to work harder at strengthening my core and back. Wish me luck and keep me motivated ! I’m shooting for a new goal date and that is March 31st! God bless!

Ok, I went to a new doctor today and turns out that a lot of my back pain is coming from Scoliosis! I was never told this, but it was in my medical records. So why am I just finding this out now? So that’s been the cause of my spinal pain lately and the reason why I’ve had muscle spasms ever since! I’m not happy about it, but it’s just another step I have to go through to get to where I want to be. I’m not able to work out for the rest of this month, but that’s ok. It will give me more desire to come back stronger, faster, and better than ever! Wish me luck!

As some of you know, I took part of last week off due to some discomfort in my chest and back again. Well, I woke up yesterday at 5 a.m. in tremendous pain. So I’m going to a new doctor to see if I can’t find out what is exactly wrong with me. My guess is I have a torn pectoral muscle and have some damage to my spine. I’ve been going crazy with worry about other things that might be causing me to be in pain, but I try not to think about those. Keep me in your thoughts and prayers because I’m going to need them to get me through the next few days. God bless!
