I’ve lost 8lb, now 215. I’m concerned how much of it is muscle loss since I have been unable to do upper body since 9/28. However, a couple of weeks ago, the PT did allow me to add tricep pushdowns in addition to my shoulder rehab exercises.
I had a bit of an accident Sunday while working out at someone’s home. I did it while helping the other guy push a bar loaded with 185lb up in the smith machine so he could have his turn at squats. It didn’t occur to me that my bicep would be flexed when I did it. Since I don’t have constant pain that was far from my mind! I’ve torn the cartilage further according to the PT’s assessment. Because it’s worse, she had to eliminate two of my rehab exercises.
My next visit to the ortho is Tuesday and I plan to tell him I want to proceed with the surgery. According to their scheduler, it should be in November.
