Friday, September 28th, 2007Maintaining weight. Knee injury from May finally healed in September so I was able to resume cardio. Upper body workouts had to be stopped due to 10/06 shoulder injury failing to heal and even worsening. Finally saw orthopedic, the cartliage that connects the bicep tendon to the cup of the shoulder joint is torn (SLAP tear). Surgery will likely be in November. Doc will be doing SLAP repair procedure so I will have enough functionality to weight train versus using one of two other procedures that would only alleviate pain. For upper body, I am current limited to shoulder, rotator cuff and scapular muscle strengthening exercises with bands. I’m doing legs and cardio 3x per week, about all the time that I have.
Since I can’t do arms, it seems like I’m losing size quickly. Also, lost most of my pec size since October 06 due to having to limit chest workouts. Sucks.
