Last motocross racing of the season this weekend. Two days of motocross then onto the harescramble on the 28th.
Took this week very lightly because I think I’ve been hitting the squat’s & deads too hard, plus the dirtbiking and volleyball so my legs couldn’t recover.
Finally my hamstrings aren’t screaming at me, just in time for 2 hours of volleyball tonight. Luckily they are early games so I can get to bed early to be at the track tomorow for 8:30 am motocross practice followed by racing.
Gotta clear the doubles, gotta clear the doubles!!!
Just finished Rippetoe’s & Kilgore’s "Practical Programming" so after these last races I’m onto a new phase of lifting for the winter season (and bike winter maintenance).

Well the last MX Races of the season went well, at least I’m still in one piece and walking!
Came up a bit short on a double in practice Saturday morning and gave myself a nice case of whiplash but saved the bike and didn’t crash! Took 1st in Novice Winner’s overall Saturday and 4th Sunday (two of the really fast girls didn’t show up Saturday but showed up Sunday).
Time to practice those jumps more and build my endurance up! The 5th lap of moto1 was killing me and I can feel it in the ol biceps & shoulders today!
