went biking

Hopped on my bicycle for the first time probably over a year. It felt really good "zipping" up and down city streets. My legs were absolutely worn out when I got back home, and it was hard to walk for a while, but that’s what made it so great! I was out and about for 25 minutes, but it didn’t feel like it was that long. Unlike running, when it seems like I’m always looking at my watch or wondering if "time is up," biking allows me to just be free and enjoy a workout. Plus, there are plenty of nice hills in the city use for extra challenges.

This might have an impact on my abiliity to do squats for my strength workout, but that’s okay. I enjoyed it, and that’s all that matters right now.
