MRI results- SURGERY A MUST
Tuesday, March 27th, 2007Today I went to the Virginia Spine Institute in Reston, VA and confirmed what I had hoped to avoid: surgery. I have a herniated C6,7 disc and a spur on C5,6 disc both of which will be operated on April 4, 2007 (next Wednesday). The surgeon said it is very possible I will recover with 100% strength once the surgery is completed but there is always the possibility there can be some permanent nerve damage. It looks like there will be no lifting for another 6-7 weeks. By that time I may be weighing in around 150 and looking like a skeleton but if that is what it takes, so be it. I am determined to come back from this even stronger and more determined. As my forum signature states: "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me!" Phillipians 4:13. The enemy comes to kill, steal and destroy but Jesus says He came to give life and more abundantly! By my faith in Him, ALL WILL BE WELL! God bless you all and please keep me in your prayers on next Wednesday that the Lord will be with the surgeon and his team giving them wisdom and me strength for a speedy recovery. Praise God! Amen
