K so amazingly enough, I found a place that can spray tan me DARK DARK I made apts for Wed & Friday nights! Getting nails done Thursday- keeping my natural nails, no fake ones with a french manicure. Once again my diet is switching: SUN-TUES Carb Deprivation, WED-FRIDAY Carb Loading… slowly building up water intake each day, then cutting back after noon on Friday, no water after 3 pm!!! GAWD, that’s gonna suck!! Have my checklist for the show, just gotta make sure I have everything! I have my moments of "freaking out" and my happy confident moments….. like Friday I went to the House of Nutrition to fill out my contest form to officially enter and I was sooooo nervous, hand shaking trying to fill it out (hope that wasn’t apparent) just because it’s all becoming SOOOO real!!! Then yesterday after lifting, feeling strong and finding the tan place, I felt relief- at peace that everything was gonna be ok. Then this morn, my trainer hits me with the switch, all the details… needed my wt #, pics Monday & Wed night, telling me I must follow to a "T", all makes me uneasy and nervous. I don’t want to screw anything up!! Another nervous thing is the polygraph test I have to do Friday, ugh just the thought of it gets my heart going… not like I have anything to be nervous about, just the fact that it’s taken so seriously and you’ve never done something before so it makes it scary! I cannot wait to just do this!!!!! and I cannot wait to eat some of my moms sweet baked goods!! and I cannot wait to eat a Sausage, Egg and Cheese next Sunday morn!! And BBQ Chicken Pizza later on… hehehe But then I know I’ll feel guilty - sorta- oh well, I need it for my mind and soul, I think. Well Ok, gotta go meet up to practice posing, then its teaching BodyAttack… home to rip up carpet in the basement and then do more cardio!!!

Yesterday I did not make it to the gym for Abs, no biggie. I got in a 12.5 mile elliptical "jog" at the expense of 1500 calories!! Today is SO nice out, I am going to run in the park… who knows how much I’ll burn. I have that Nike Plus but I’m not sure if I calibrated it correctly.. After that I have a Bi/Tri and Ab workout and learn the new BodyAttack release by tomorrow when I team teach with Deb! Wheew!
I did buy my makeup for the show yesterday. MAC foundation, blush, eye shadow, lipstick- all that…. holy it’s pricey!!!!!! My fiance was nice and went 1/2 with me - AWWW! He said I’ve worked so hard and I’m already a winner, I deserved this to shine up there ))
I also tried out tanning products on my legs… left was protan, right was jana tan. Ok so protan looked more natural but also more orange in color. Jana tan was darker, smelled better, also easier to WASH off! I’m thinking a base coat of protan followed by jana tan stuff- agree??? I’ve talked to a few people who just shave…. but egads my pores must be huge cause you can see all the spots!!!!! Seriously looks BAD people, I dunno if I should shower in COLD cold water to shrink them and shave or try to wax?! Suggestions????

I woke at 4:20 am, but got up 5:05 am, got ready to go to the gym after my cup of joe. Did legs, followed by an hr. of cardio… went from the stepper to the treadmil and finished with the stepper… I have the distance & amounts on a sheet of paper in my car so I will have to write that later. Don’t know if I’ll be able to get my 2nd round of cardio in late tonight- going to a Haunted Hayride- should be fun! I hope the rain holds off. I also want to apply the fake tan stuff- I have protan and jana tan… gotta read how I should do this - any suggestions? I plan to take tomorrow off and go to the makeup counter so they can match my face and all. Well, I gotta go for now. Have a great day! Keep up the great work everybody!!
PS. Today is “Love your body” Day!!
Update: 2:11 pm, okay I’m really feeling my left knee… darn treadmill, it’s evil incarnate! i really think i need to stick to alternative cardio; otherwise go light or shorter runs on it! also, my stomach is growling like a mofo!!! wt - i’m not even hungry… maybe from this morns lemon juice/apple cider vinegar/green tea extract combo? eh.. just thought i’d share! can’t wait til 5 pm!!!!

Alright so after that run yesterday, I had spurts of energy here and there throughout the day- otherwise I just felt ‘off’. I skipped my workout and fell asleep instead, waking up here and there… but basically from 7:30- 10 pm then 10:45- 5, then 5:45.. holy, lotta sleep but I’m still tired. Sinus is stuffy… ugh. Haven’t done cardio this morning.. I think I’m gonna save it all til later, I don’t wanna push my luck and go over board. I’m just gonna make sure I eat very clean. Yesterday I did just that - plain egg whites suck and I’m not a big fan of tuna either, yuk.. but that’s what i’m called to do, i do it! 9 more days, then the show! wow, coming up fast now!!
Update: Had a nice Shoulder & Back workout followed by a 10 min jog on the mil.. bout 1 mile, 120 cals… just did an hr. elliptical 6 miles, 714 cals burned… soooooo not as much as normal but taking it ez and not killing myself.. tomorrow will be better. Gotta do it all in the morn as I’m going to a Haunted Hayride at night, yay!!

Candy pumpkins, pie, ice cream OH MY!!!! Not only that, I’ve got the bloat from "that time" so my pictures really didn’t show good progress. I’m disappointed and upset with myself. I’ve only got 10 more days to make the most of it… I better kick my ass into High Gear!!! I’ve gotta lean out more… No doubt I am proud of where and how far I’ve come but I’m nervous I won’t be ready…. Plain plain clean eating is NOT an option, FAST cardio is in my immediate future!!! I feel tired and blah, BUT it’s gonna be worth it, it’s gonna be, it’s gonna be!! (<- a lil self talk here "pep talk") Alright well here’s an update of activity: Sunday - 8.66 miles, 964 cals burned. Yesterday I did 4.62 miles, 546 burned in the AM, then I taught RPM so maybe 4-500 calories burned there, then 4.10 miles and 490 cals on the elliptical last night. Not too shabby but I need to hang onto that much cardio or more a day! My body likes FAT, time to Rip it off!!!!!!!!!!! On that note, I’m off!
The Punishment Update: 10.9 miles, 1300 cals burned this morn - more later!!!!!!!!! muhahahhaa!!!!!!
I was watching the news while running, I think I’m gonna take up competitive eating and win myself some cashola!! J/K!!!!!

So yesterday afternoon I didn’t feel like doing Abs or more cardio or anything…….. Ahhh, so I didn’t!! Today is Saturday and I dont know what I’m still doing getting up at 4:15 am! What’s wrong with me? Nahhh, I will lay down again… feel tired, and don’t want to get sick. But I will practice my BodyAttack release for class- that will be this morns hr cardio.. then I have bi’s & tris to do, probably will do abs b4 class, then the arms after so i’m not dead completely! Then by 12:30or 1:30 I should be set for the rest of the day- no more! I just need to practice my posing, which I’m gonna meet with a friend to go over them- she’s competed before and will be in this same show! Nice of her to help me for FREE, some people are an-l and want to charge you even when you’re friends!?? Whhhaaa?? I hope this message is coherent- I’m not fully awake yet, thank goodness i grabbed the coffeemate and not the egg whites and poured it in my coffee, as i almost did! *gasp* Alright peoples, enjoy the weekend- be good, stay strong. I’ve been soooo hungry lately, help me - keep me cheat free!!!!!! I need it! I have to!! I’ve had a few spoons of PB (not allowed onmy diet) and even though it can be good, I tend to have too much…. and too much of a good thing is never a good thing!! hehe. HELP!!!!!!!!!!! 2 weeks from today , 2 weeks!!!!!

Did more elliptical last night, something like 3.31 miles and 358 calories burned…. felt bad cause I had 1/2 a MR bar and I wasn’t supposed to… so I had to know I burned it off!! hhaha, I’m sick! My weight is staying the same… body fat is going down, this is good news! I should be there in 2 weeks… that’s still plenty of time! Just gotta keep doing this crazy goodness! I’m headed to the gym… today is Ab day~
*Correction: It was down pouring so I stayed here and did 9.70 miles and 1144 cals burned. Abs and more cardio to come!!!!
*Update: 2:10 pm - Supervisor called to inform me of goodies & dessert in the Faculty lounge… GRRRR!!!!!! I was okay, until then. I’m going to make a shake now!

thanks Sugicalmike, for the title of today’s post! hehehe…. well, I’m up at 4:15… drinking my coffee here and checking in. In a few minutes I am leaving for the gym like I promised myself, no excuses!
Question: what’s better to shed body fat quicker… Run(sprint last 10-15 secs of each phase)/Jog on the treadmill or the elliptical and why???
*Update: Started my weight session/ back work this morn..did that then got on the treadmill - I did manual… adjusting speed up and down accordingly, doing my sprints as best I could with my left knee hurting… ugh. Did 5.20 miles, burned 589 calories. At work, thank goodness tomorrow is FRIDAY!!

Ok, I was up at 4:15, I have now spent 1/2 hr on here….. my butt should be running!!!!!!!! hahaha….
gonna get my groove on. Later is shoulders and a lil more cardio, gonna do most NOW!
*Update: 7 am - I DID hit the ground running, well the elliptical… but does that matter? Anyway, I did the rolling phase 1-7, went 10.1 miles and burned 1226 calories, HELZ yeah!!
*Update: 9:15 pm - Did 4 more miles, 450 cals burned. 20 mins box stepping w/ ham & glute squeezing *UMPH*!!
Tomorrow is Back day, and I teach RPM… I’m thinking of going to the gym and doing the workout and cardio in the AM so all I’ll have left later is to tan and step it for 20 mins! Hope I get my butt up!!

Had a GREAT Chest workout, Really challenged myself with weights- felt great pushing out my last reps!!
Tonights cardio: 99 mins of intervals, 9.38 miles & 1080 cals burned!!! Then I did 20 mins stair or shall I say box stepping, I can feel it in the back of my legs.
I’m beat- gotta sleep & do it all again 2morrow!!!!
