The Good & The Bad
Wednesday, March 7th, 2007So yesterday I was at the gym and noticed I was progressing with the calf seperation, I was jumping for joy- seriously- what better way to work them more! hehe… I feel stronger all around which is good.
NOW, even though I don’t have stomach pain… my recent blood work revealed my liver enzymes were elevated to 70 when normal is 40 and 400 would be big time damage. So, what to do? My doctor said to stop the Amino Acids but I couldn’t find any articles on this saying they were BAD. The other things I take are 7-Keto, GH, Lean Out, ZMA sometimes and creatine (but I don’t overdo it). I cut all supplements in 1/2 my normal doses for now… Anyone have input?? Many Thanks!
Something Extra to Add: Elevated Liver enzymes
Common causes of elevated liver enzymes include: Medications, such as certain nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, acetaminophen, cholesterol-lowering medications, antibiotics and anti-seizure medications; drinking too much alcohol; obesity; diabetes; infection, such as viral hepatitis and mononucleosis; autoimmune disorders of the liver and bile ducts, such as autoimmune hepatitis and primary sclerosing cholangitis and primary biliary cirrhosis; metabolic liver disease, such as hemochromatosis and Wilson’s disease; excessive use of vitamin supplements and certain herbal supplements; tumors of the liver or bile ducts.
