Ab Test
Saturday, May 30th, 2009Went out for a jog this morning to see how my abs felt. Did a 5k in about 27 minutes. Had to force myself to slow down at times because the longer my stride the more I felt the strain. If I kept my stride short it felt fine. Tried to do a pullup afterwards but that was a no go. I was able to do pushups so that’s going to be my game plan for a while. A slow jog and pushups until my abs feel better. I may have to take a week off from softball as well as the stopping and starting to either run to first or field a ball on defene is where I’m putting the most strain on. The weather is getting so nice here in NY I hate to cut my workouts short but I have no choice. I’m going to lift later today but will keep the weight light and do more reps.
