Feeling GREAT today! I’ve finally cracked the whip on myself and incorporated abwork! Okay..it’s only been ONE DAY, but I’m stoked! It wasn’t too hard either. After my evening cardio, I did one of my favorite vids (Joannie Greggains Super Stomaches - 12min.) Today..I’m not even sore. I think doing my cardio and focusing on squeezing my abs/glutes and hams are helping to strengthen those areas. My diet is what I consider good, but I don’t track macros/calories, etc. I just eat when my body tells me to and I watch my portion sizes. I’m generally trying to stick to high protein/low carb foods…so I really don’t have to watch my fat. I do focus on trying to get in good fats from olive oil and nuts though. Gonna take my measurements and weight in 5 days. I’m seeing a big difference in the mirror and finally starting to really get that "lean" look that I want so much.

I will be tracking my exercise (eventually) and foods that I eat (eventually) right here on my blog. Right now I’m doing a test 4 week trial run on this product by Bodywell Corp called, "Tight Curves". I wasn’t too thrilled to try a product (protein powder) that was "made for woman" cuz it’s usually hype to get woman to feel they have "special" needs. However, it does help diminish the bloat and don’t know what the hell is going on with my bod, cuz my bf% is dropping like a motherf*cker! So…who knows…they may be on to something. Will post my final results here when I’m done with the product test log though.

Been soooo busy w/my office move. Decided to work from home to eleviate alot of work related stress. Need to take my biz in a new direction and will require alot of time alone and strategy. Not too worried about this, because this is my field of expertise…making $$$…that, I know how to do. Now losing fat….well these last few pounds are very challenging!

Still have not mastered lifting, but will post when I start.

Time Management - Need to work on this, as my time management currently sucks. Stress from work and incomplete paperwork has really driven me nuts.

Cardio - Not been good with cardio this week, but I WILL start today and get in at least 3 days this week. I have lifted heavy furniture for 2 days straight this week (breaking a huge sweat) so hopefully that will count for something. I’m bloated, irritable and PMSy today. I just look so fat to myself in the mirror (especially my gut)! I know I’m hard on myself cuz everyone else goes wooop..when they see me! Sounds strange, but I kinda get pissed off when people tell me how great I look or how wonderful a transformation I made, cuz I don’t feel like I’ve finished my transformation and refuse to give myself credit for what I’ve accomplished. I’m kinda an "all or nothing" person.

Glad to have my online training partner (who’s so motivating to me)…cough…mytam302….cough!:) It helps so much to have to report (accountability) to another human being.

Okay…back to work.

Hello all…well I’ve finally decided to log my journey to becoming the best me possible.

History of ME

I started my road to a new healthier, thinner, leaner ME on January 5, 2008. Prior to that, I had an addiction of McDonald’s and the COUCH! I did nothing but work (I’m a real estate investor), eat out constantly and watch VH1 Reality Shows (didn’t want to think when I got home). I started out my just walking 15-20 min around the block and broke off (cold turkey) my love affair w/McDonald’s double fish filet, large fries and apple pies (I still am engaged to diet Coke). Over the months to follow, my workout would progress to my home gym’s eliptical and recumbent machines. I used to drink about 8 oz of water/day. I gradually increased my water intake to 1/2 - 1 gal daily!!! Losing 30 lbs really wasn’t as hard as one might think it would be, but there were a few interesting things I learned about my body during my journey. Actually, I’ve not completed this journey and as such, have decided to take you all, through the final stages of my fat loss/body recomp journey.
