After about 6 months of telling myself that having this bowflex was the best thing for me and turning around to be the worst screw ever I’ve just opened a membership to the local gym to the town I just moved to called iron house, I’ve heard alot about it good and bad the good for me is that it’s only a few blocks away from my house the bad that people say is that the equipment isn’t that up to par! well excuse me but what the hell did hercules and such ever get big from? wasn’t just born like that. anyway, I was in there a month or so ago and the equipment is painted red and looks to be well maintained unlike the first gym I belonged to I ended up with a strange skin fungus because the users wouldn’t clean after they used the equipment and the wart I got on my hand, anyway, I keep getting off point!
the point is the bowflex didn’t do it for me. and this gym looks to be the best things the equipment is great and the best part is if you lock your payments in for a year the monthly fee is just 17.99. WOAH! that’s crazy. so I hope to be back in buisness again, and on my way to my fitness goals. after all the holidays and no "real" way to burn all those cals off, guess were they went! and the dumb thing is, I’m still eating like i was when I was d lifting and training hard. wtf!? strange right?
anyway. just thought I’d post a blog havn’t been here for a long time and I just got over a cold which subsiquintly came on my b day so that was fun lol.. ok so thats all I’ve got.

So… may 28th is my soberdate. and It’s been 2 years. and I wanted it to be special, and I was set to recieve a 2 year pin on the friday following my official date. which would be the 30th, so I thought while at work wouldn’t it be neat to propose to my wonderful girlfriend ashley at my celebration. so I devised a plan and carried it out in 2 days, asking hints of this and that, so after work friday I went to get my check cashed it and then went and bought a ring, a very nice yet simple white gold with a small rock, the box was so big I had no idea how I was going to sneak it into the meeting with out ash seeing, oh one of the funny things about all this and of course god’s work, is when I went to get the ring I touched the heart of the woman that sold the ring to me, turns out her brother is a recovering alcoholic, and I’ve been needing a sponser here so she gave his number to me. I still havn’t called him I should get to that now that I’m thinkin about it, heh, anyway so that was kinda neat, so back to how do I sneak it in, well my bud ryan was going to be going to the meeting with me and so I stopped at his house before the meeting and I was sneaky about getting the ring into the house I slipped it into the pocket of this short sleeve shirt that I had along, ash just figured I was putting she shirt on. unknown to her the ring was in the pocket, so I got in the house and I said dude take this and hold it I’ll sold my hand out when I’m ready for it, hehehehe the box was so BIG he didn’t know how he’d do it, I said dude just toss it in your pocket you won’t even see it, I was right, so on to the meeting, it was nice to see ppl I hadn’t seen in a month, they were happy to see me. I also got the camel that grace promised me., the camel represents an alcoholic. in the morning the camel kneels so the master can put the back pack on, and kneels at the end of the day so the master can take it off, in the morning we ask the lord to guide us with out drink and at the end of the day we thank him for the day without drink.
anyway. so we did the greeting, and had the chip talk and my time came up to take my pin, and I said a small speach saying this would not be possible if it wasn’t for sobriety, i’d still be 263 with a 44 waist, I’d still be living a waisted worthless life, and with the turn around of being sober I’ve done this and done that, and now I’m out of state and in with my awesomely beautiful baby ashley, and I held my hand out and took a knee in front of her my mom my bud ryan and my ex sis n law becky, and 30 other people. and said ash’s name and help the ring out, I thought she was going to cry! my mom did instantly, I suprised the lot of them. was a good feeling, OF course, she said yes! hehe. =)

Well ya’ll D-lifts are back on the menu!
I did some warmups felt good, and then went for just 275 5×5 since I havn’t done them in about a month. It really went well I know because my arse hurts. d-lifts are the only lift that makes my glutes feel like their in a clamp! lol. it’s ok though! it means that I’m going to grow!. so anyway I just thought I’d share the good news! have a great weekend ya’ll!! =))

I hope you all eat to the fullest it’s only once a year and one day it’s ok have seconds! although I know were I’ll be 2 hours before that, at the gym kicking my own butt. haha we love the punishment and hte results after, don’t lie ya know it!
my weight keeps going up and down, I’d also like to say who would be a health nut that smokes right?? well I"M OFF the yucky things all the way, I’ve been on chantix last 2 months and let me tell you if you smoke and can’t do it alone and want to quit look into chantix after even the first month you just don’t want them in fact I don’t even think about them most of the time the triggers that used to make me want one like in the car after eating or in the morning whatever the cravings are gone! I’m so happy at the same time i’m thinking great more work I have to cut back on everything and the fat is going to rush back., well not if I’m working out 5 days a wekk and staying active, my weakness is playing the playstation. but I also use the ps2 to work cardio 2 or 3 times aweek by playing need for speed carbon getitng in chases, the harder the chase the harder I peddle that excerbike haha it’s great I lost 10 pants sizes doing that everyday for almost a year. so anyway. happy thanksgiving!!

Anyone ever get depressed and not have any ambition to get to the gym!? I get that way sometimes. but maybe it’s me needing a break? Maybe burned out and need a week off! Ya wouldn’t think that would hurt anything infact it may help. got a few things on my mind lately and I know it’s effecting my concentration at the gym and my workouts but how does one over come this?? > Bambam<

Another day at the gym and I’m seeing more progrees today I was able to do 205 for 3, thats awesome considering the fact that bench wasn’t going to be my favorite excercise in the gym. although my back has been giving me issues i’m going to keep plugging away at the bench I think there is potential there, on of the guys that has been lifting for a long time said about 3 weeks ago that my arms needed more work, today he said you arms are showing improvement and you can see they’re getting bigger, love hearing that. that motivation right there to keep gaining, how many of you heard of superdrol? this is the reformulated one. take care!

I tried some of the biceps workouts I found on here, like the xreps. and the Brandon Poe episode 4 bi’s work out and wow what a pump. they already feel bigger. I’ve determined that i’m mixed muscle of type 1 and type 2 by my family gene and how my body reacts to weight vs. reps. it’s pretty interesting, and there is so much to learn about lifts and lifting in general it fascinates me I feel like a sponge sometimes just want to learn everything but it takes time. 18 months ago I was just getting started. well thanks for reading, have a good day!

Buggah, all I have to say. last week I was moving the racecar over to the wall for winter and felt a pull in my back. I tried d-lifts yesterday and it hurt on warm ups of 225. so I guess for a few weeks i’m going to focus on other excersices. like bench. I finally got past my plateau I was on. so now it’s time to grow! I also work on my lats yesterday and i havn’t been able to hurt them enough. but my workout yesterday hurt them plenty I feel it today opening doors and such it’s great I love this kind if hurt. so I hope everyone is making great progress and your goals are coming true. happy bets day and have a great weekend. peace

Well. I got my max today, 440lbs on deads. I have found out that I’m going to need to work on forearms to hold the heavier weight. my next mark to 500 is 470. not far off, I am also considering a compitition in 6 months, in the 198 class. to lift 500. or more, we’ll see, the guy that see’s me through alot of what I do at the gym brought it up to me, sounds all good, and I’ve been thinking about a meet at some this will just come sooner than I thought it would be, I’m nervus at the thought of being in front of all those people, but I’m confident in my training, and I love working out, for everyone that read this, good luck in your goals, I’m living mine. peace!
