Space out your eating throughout the day, spacing it evenly. That means eating 5-7 smaller meals, every 2-3 hrs. Don't look at any of them as snacks. Make them all heathly clean meals, just smaller than the traditional 3 large meals per day. THIS will keep the metabolism raised &amp; provide better nutrients to your body. And yes, you were not eating enough cal's per day at 1200. Your body reacted by slowing things down.

1 lb of BF is equivalent to 3500 cal's. So it takes burning 3500 cal's MORE THAN CONSUMED to drop 1 lb of BF. So 1-2 lbs per weeks is doing very well. Just don't starve yourself trying to get there.

GOOD LUCK. :D

Bianca the protein pancake is just another healthy food that someone can have for breakfast. It's just a alternative to pancakes. There is that saying "nothing tastes as good as looking good". It's just about eating clean...good luck

Yes, good advice from NIcky. I would also recommend to plan out your meals in advance and stick with your plan, and make sure you are eating about every 3 hours to keep you full. Once you get in a routine it will get easier. Also plan for a meal to cheat, it will keep you sane.

The problem's name is fruits.Grapes have a lot of fruktose and a lot of calories.Try to eat something else(bananas, pears and plums are also very bad.Cereals are also a problem:do ot eat too much of them.A handfull it's enough. What about veggies?Broccoli, green beans, cawliflower and any green vegetables are perfect next to tuna or chicken.Yoghurt or cottage cheese are fine for dinner, but plain yoghurt not fruit yoghurt.Try to drink more water, reduce salt and you'll see the results. You should eat 5-6 small meals per day.I

Two pounds a week is about the perfect rate for weight loss. Don't beat yourself up too much for not losing more. While it is possible, the greater the rate of weight loss, the less healthy the loss is, and also greater the chance of rebound.

I am reading a book called Ultrametabolism by Mark Hyman. It talks about saunas and says something like do a sauna or steam bath at least so many times a week because it helps your metabolism. I cant find the exact page right now with the data. But it was something to do with killing off free radicals or something that are blocking your metabolism from soaring. Sounded like a hot bath might do the same thing...
I scanned that part last night before bed so the details are kinda fuzzy, but ... Something to think about if he is not just another diet $$ grinder. So far lots of stuff he says makes sense so...

Just my opinion . . . if they do burn fat, it's probably pretty insignificant. The vast majority of any weight you lose in a sauna is just water . . . and it goes back on pretty fast once you start hydrating again. We used to use them in wrestling to drop weight before weigh-ins. Guys could temporarily shed several pounds before hitting the official scale, but it went right back up rapidly once they got fluid back in them.
