I’ve been doing the gym thing now for about three years one wasted as i knew nothing and just did random stuff in the gym then i found this site and got some great advice from members on here. I steadily made strides in the gym and finally broke the 160 weight range this year, now i have reached what i believe is my first plateau my strength has basically remained the same and my weight has remained constant. The thing is my back is improving so maybe its not a plateau either way i plan to implement a new gym routine to switch things up and to focus my attention towards bringing up my lats working my legs and broadening my back and a renewed focus on abs lets see how it works

Well for me the challenge will not be the eating but staying consistent in the gym my lifts have steadily improved over the past 3 months but i know they can and should be alot better. I am hoping to bulk for at least 3 months with a heavy focu on my legs and chest which to me are lagging for those of you who have bulked before what has worked best for you?

After my last blog i decided to take a step back and asses what i was doing in the gym and decided where i needed to place my emphasis. I decided to concentrate on my weak areas legs and refocus work on my abbs whilst continuing to improove with the bis tris shoulders and back. While my chest has been my let down i have decided to switch things up and for the past two weeks workouts were great plus i will be back to my gym next month so i am even happier. I have set a realistic goal to reach 160-165 by December and wil look for improovements every two months rather than weekly as i have been doing lol let see how it goes.

I may seem slow with this realisation but bodybuilding is truly for the patient. i have been at this now for two years the first was a waste as i knew nothing about what i was doing the second better as i got guidance from persons at the gym and bodyspace members. While i have gained 17 pounds over that period others have gained that in a matter of months. This fact however, has not detered me while at times i have questioned why the hell am i doin this it is taking so long to gain. This sentiment has been with me for the past month while i have been working harder for this year the gains have been few and far between especially with my chest as my bech press has stalled i have not increased significantly in this area at all but on the otherhand, i have improoved in other areas. So with this knowledge i will keep trekking on it may take me another two or three years to reach my goals but i will reach them.
