Finally got settled into a new gym and got a solid routine in the works with the help of a great PT! Only took  me like 5 months to get off my butt and take care of. Last night was my first app. with the PT (Andy) and boy i am out of shape! I am feeling it today and i didnt even complete a full set of most of the exercises! but no pain no gain right and he thinks i am perfectly capapble of the routine he has laid out for me and i told him my goal was to be in competition shape whether or not i would compete. so now its time to watch what i eat and when i eat it and suck it up and make the most of this and get back in the shape i know can be in! i hate being skinny fat! tonight is the second half of the routine so i will have a solid line up to work through for about 2 months then we will meet again and change it up. I am working out at 5 am. each morning cept. weekends, i tried that after work at 5-5:30pm and theres just no way! even if i do muster up the energy to get there it takes forever to snag a machine and at 5 am. i have the gym mostly to myself and then after work i can come home and relax and make a healthy supper instead! Otherwise no matter how i try and manage time i end up eating at 7:30-8 at night and that sucks then i dont get to bet till 11. so the plan is to get up at 5 am and be in bed by 9-9:30 ready to sleep!

Day 2 of my week of working out and eating clean! Going great so far, my abs are sore from the workout i did last night. I love that feeling! Only going to workout till Thursday cause i am going out for haloween on fri. and wont have time between work and getting dressed up to workout. But i have a solid routine for the days i am hitting thr gym. My goal as i had posted earlier is to have my abs back by Christmas. I want to have the body i want by next summer which i dont think is too big of a challenge as long as i stick to the plan, and dont get lazy. My boyfriend has just started going back to the gym again to so that is really awesome, hes very supportive of me and my healthy eating habits, he doesnt eat as healthy as i do but he is willing to try new things and he knows how to get results in the gym. It just a breath of fresh air to have someone close to you have the same interests in fitness rather than have to explain why you are doing what you do all the time.

Yay I have kept a eating journal current for 6 days in a row now! Thats pretty impresive for me.

So far my diet consists of whole wheat wraps natural peanut butter and apples, oranges and lots of spinach and tuna ( love the flavored tuna packages!) bananas, kashi oatmeal every morning, lots of water to.

My fitness journal is not so impressive,  I have kept it current for 3 days now and have worked quads, glutes calves and back on Mon. , Back and abs on Tues. , and yesterday I did biceps and triceps. Tonight will be abs and shoulders. I am making my own routines out of the Eat Clean Diet workout book, thanks Tosca! So far it is working really well!  I just need to find a way to do more cardio since it takes so long i am running out of time after a long day at work. So maybe on the weekend i can fit in a good session o HIIT.

Going grocery shopping tonight and I am planning on getting nothing but clean healthy foods. I am sick of eating crap! My skin sucks and I feel all bloated all the time. I am seriously considering fitness modeling at this point and doing what ever it takes to get into shape and go from there. Currently i am working out 5 days a week for about an hour, alternating lifting and cardio during those days. Now i just need to convince my boyfriend that i am not crazy for eating the way i do! Support would be nice at this point but if not i will continue to do what i have to do to get in tip top shape! Since when is eating veggies and fruits crazy anyways? I have gotten very good at packing my lunches every night so i just have to make sure i am packing healthy items all the time and not letting myself get hungry at work.

Also it would be nice to actually go see a fitness competition for once so i could see what goes on.

Ok so I have my meals and workout schedule planned for the next five days, I am planning on making what ever foods i need to prepare ahead of time at the end of the day before work the next day. My goal is to be back to a lean 114 lbs. by the end of October, I am currently at 120..wait let me go check…ah yes 120 lbs. right now. I am not concerned about what i weigh after i lose the 6 lbs. i gained over summer, considering it will be muscle weight.

My next challenge is to stay motivated to work out after working a 10 to 12 hour day and not having weekends off to rest up, Its busy season right now where i work and i definatly will need encouragment to work out afterwards, My job is not hard by any means but it is long days, If need be i can do some lunges or squats in the office to wake my body up from sitting in an office chair all day, i usually have the office to myself so i wont be in anyones way.

I have a great work out partner, my cousin and best friend Jen, she has a body space here as well under badasscowgirl so check it out and offer support to her as well please! anyways her and i have very similar goals and we work for the same company so we can keep each other from slacking off. Thank god!

My first blog ever, and I have been on this site a while..wow what a slacker I am lol

I just wanted to log a few of my goals, In general I want to eat as clean as possible for as long as possible, I don’t believe in dieting or not being on a diet, If you choose a healthy lifestlye then it should be an everyday thing not a im eating healthy all week then im pigging out on the weekends, Obviously any one who has tryed this realizes that you will give in to bad foods sooner than later but its better to give in a lil and record it in a food journal than to deprive yourself and go on a week ong binge of not caring what you eat. Believe me i have done it =(

To break down my goal of eating clean, I need to discipline myself to pack a lunch for for every night before i go to bed otherwise i am left with fast food or gas station options, Also i need to only buy healthy foods and keep the bad stuff out of my house, once its there the consumer in me rationalizes that i can’t just let it go to waste, when in reality it the gym time i just wasted when i realize i gained back those 2 oe 3 lbs. i was trying so hard to loose!

Goal #2: I need to be consistent in working out and stick to a routine so i can track my progress. Keeping a current workut journal is a must, How will i know where i am going if i don’t know where i have been!

Also I am hoping to get breast implants in the next fews years and i would really like a nice competion worthy body to go with them, If any one feels this is a mistake or a waste please let me know i am always open to advise and comments. Anyways I would like to lower my body% so i can garentee that there wont be much up top when i am in the condition i want to be so i would feel much better about my self having had the procedure done. So in looking forward to having that done i am staying motivated to whip my butt in shape. I guess thats all for now…..
