Full steam ahead….
Sunday, September 30th, 2007yeah it’s been almost five months sincemy last blog. At the time I was also getting a little discouraged at the gym, mostly cause I was not going to attend a big event…where the more skin you show the more you’re noticed and the more fun you’ll have.
Yeah superficial reason to get fit but that changed by June after seeing my brother graduate from Amry bootcamp. I realized that if the Army couldn’t give him a six pack….then I’m in trouble. Now grant it he’s not into lifiting as I am…..but I’d figure it was just parof the package…..but thatBs not the case.
For me that means and explains why I can’t seem to win the battle of the bulge and to get my bodyfat percent down to a single digit….or at least under 15%. Damn genetics…..however at the same time genetics is what allows me to just look at a weight and I seems to grow.
So I’ve drawn the line and the stubborned bull is determined to win. So far I’ve been gaining weight but losing the pooch. Freaking estatic about that. Now to just keep moving forward.
I eat heavy in the morning and light at night. Start every workout intense cardio on an elliptical….set that puppy up to an intensity of 8an a very high incline. I have big legs so this is using just about my biggest muscle for the longest duration. Anywhere from 20 to 30 minutes….and then I lift for 40 min to an hour and twenty at least three times a week.
Only supplement I’m taking right now is TwinLab Ripped Fuel, which are giving me the same results as regular Hydroxycut. I’m cosidering switching to Hydroxycut Hardcore.
Other than that I have a high coffee intake….especially on gym day. To help me get through my cardio and workout I try drinking a large cup before or take a caffine pill or take my dose of Ripped Fuel about 15 min before working out. Been doing this the last two weeks and it definately helps.
By the way I take my coffee straight black. Nothing added except ice if I want it cold. I have to thank a wise old woman for challenging me to drink it that way for two weeks a couple of years ago. It worked and developed a taste for it.
Well this was a long one I’ll keep posting about my progress on the battle.
Have a good one.
