Help!!! Arms are unbalanced….

Last night I broke out the tape measure and saw that my right arm is still growing faster than my left.  So I’m slightly off blanaced right now. 

My right is now measuring 16.25" while my left is at 15.75".  What should I do to balance them out?  They are lifting about the same amount of weight.  My left is still slightly weaker than my right.  Should I go less with my right and keep increasing my left until left is stronger?

I don’t like being off balance but I am right hand dominant.  Any help/advice would be appreciated.

Moving up the dumbbell rack….

This week it was good to see how I’ve been moving up in weight with the dumbbells. 

For a bicep curl I was using 35’s and now I’m up in the 50’s.  As for chest flys, I’ve gone from 45’s to 60’s.  The only down side is that the heavier weights are at the other end of the rack from where I was….so I have to go dodge other people at the dumbbell station but it’s all worth it.

For me using dummbell is easier because my right arm loves to cheat when using a barbell.  It’s hard for me to control with a barbell but with a dumbbell the arms are isolated to push the weight on their own.

Which do you prefer, dumbbells or a barbell?
