Bad week for me…

Well, good on one hand but bad for all of the other body parts I have.

I’m sure few know, but I started catering the beginning of the year. Nothing big since I do it out of my home and I am the one who does everything. Anyway, I got the largest job to date, 45 people, to be delivered on the 3rd. Needless to say I worked SOOOO hard for 4 days. She wanted 3 different gourmet sandwiches I make, 4 appetizers, and 6 different desserts. I was either constantly cooking, doing nails (I still have nail clients that come to my home even though I "retired" from that after my daughter was born), or taking care of my sweet girl. Unfortunately my diet took a serious dive and I truely had zero energy, or even time for that matter, to work out. except for Monday and Tuesday. I was tasting so much stuff I was cooking, that is absolutely not on the diet, and then that led to eating anything I could get my hands on that was quick and easy.

I was supposed to do progress pics, an official weigh in, and measurements on Friday or Saturday for the grand total for the last 2 months, but I decided against it. I put on weight INCREDIBLY easy and I know how discouraged I would be if I knew the damage that was done. So…I decided to put it off for a week and I will do them after I get through this week. Then I will just do a 3 week progress for this month. I know mentally this will be the best thing for me to do.

I told my husband that when I get to the point that I am doing a contest prep diet that I would not be able to take ANY catering jobs for that time period. There is just no way I can put food out that someone has paid me for and not taste it to know if it is up to my standards. So that will be off limits when the time comes.

I am really looking forward to getting things moving in the right direction again and not physically feeling the way I do now. I can really feel the water retention the last few days. I start working out again today. I decided to take yesterday off because my feet and legs were so swolen, and my feet and back were so pissed at me.

So, good week for making the $$$, but awful for the goals for the bod and future plans! No wallowing, though. Here is to a good week ahead!

    Yes we all have bad days. Just let the good days out weigh the bad ones.

    after one week is over i FORGET ABOUT IT and move on whether it is bad OR good; because the current one is the important one NOW. (yeah ive already put the past 4 years of doing NOTHING in the past, too! :)

    dont let one "mishap" ruin anything for you, girl…FORGIVE yourself, get back on track, and get back to work.

    you can do it!!!!!!!
