I’m back!

I know I’ve been missing from BodySpace for a minute.. so I thought I’d write a quick post. Training over the past few weeks have been going quite well, I’m starting to see some results so I’m really impressed with myself (and my PT!).

I’ve started taking the Animal Cuts Pak.. I think I’ll stick with this for a while , seems to be doing the trick, as the side effects I was having with Hydroxycut Hardcore were a little too much to handle.  Today, when I get round to it I will update my measurements on my page because I haven’t done them since I first joined this site! Fingers crossed!

What the hell????!!!

Been too busy to update anything on here recently and then yesterday the unthinkable happened!!! I came home from work to find that some motherf***er had broken into my house and STOLEN my laptop!! I am still p****d off and I’m sure I will be for a very long time!!!

Still managed to get to the gym today, I even weighed myself.. something I have been putting off but I did it and I guess it made me feel good. Although my body fat index is 30.8%, so I’m slightly below average which is around 29%.  My Body Mass Index (BMI) is 26.8, which is supposed to indicate that I am overweight. Oh well! I’m not gonna let that get me down.. I know what I have to do and I’m in the process of doing it.

The Beginning… Day 2…

Just got back from another fun filled day at the gym! This morning I actually woke up early to go to ‘Spinning’ class.. tired but I managed it.

The time at work passed kinda quick and I ate right, didn’t even think about chocolate lol Came home then got ready for the gym AGAIN. This time I went to Aerobics.. haven’t done it for YEARS but I kept up with everyone else (just about!!).

My hips and thighs are BURNING!!!! Still no sign of my new supplements unfortunately.. maybe tomorrow.

The Beginning…

Just got back from my first SERIOUS workout.. let’s just say it was tiring! But on the other hand it feels good because if I continue the hard work I will get the results that I want. I’ve also eaten properly today, which is a bonus! I made myself lunch before I went to work and purposely left my purse in the car so that I wouldn’t be tempted to buy all the unhealthy goodness (lol) from the vending machines.

Breakfast:

  • Cup of green tea
  • Half a pink grapefruit
  • Bowl of Weetabix
  • Multivitamins / Thermobol capsule

Lunch:

  • Cup of green tea
  • 3 small plain organic crackers
  • Low fat yoghurt
  • Thermobol capsule

 Snack(s):

  • 2 ‘Golden Delicious’ apples
  • 1 banana

Dinner:

  • 1 chicken breast
  • Fistful of brown rice
  • Vegetables

I’m still awaiting the arrival of my new supplements.. hopefully by the end of the week they should be here. Looking forward to trying them out!

Tomorrow I’m planning to go to ‘Spinning’ in the morning before work and then Aerobics in the evening. Fingers crossed!

First step…

Ok well.. not quite sure where to start, but I’ll give it a try.

I came across this website by chance, my boyfriend found it and thought I’d be interested but unlike other things my boyfriend talks about I decided to take an interest and I guess you could say that I’m hooked on this thing!

For a very long time I have been VERY unhappy about the way I look. I’ve not always been this way.. I guess it was brought on by a lot of things that I’m not really going to go into detail about right now because I don’t really feel all that comfortable talking about.

You could say that I’ve been trying to lose weight since last summer (2006) and to be honest with you, I didn’t really put that much effort into it. I hated the fact that I looked the way I did, I could barely look at myself in the mirror without feeling sick which would often make me feel depressed.  Also, I hated the fact that I had to put in hard work to get what I wanted which I never really had to do because at a particular time in my life I could eat whatever I wanted and not have to go to the gym and still look good lol Sadly, those days are over for me.

It wasn’t just the way I looked that I hated, I couldn’t stand people making an issue out of my weight everywhere I went. A  lot of the time I took it as a joke but unfortunately, deep down inside it hurt like hell and there were a number of times that I would refuse to go out and have fun or just be around other people because I was so unhappy with myself. To a certain extent, I still behave this way. I guess it’s just my way of dealing with things.

Anyway.. my boyfriend suggested that I make a profile on BodySpace, so I went along with it bearing in mind it was very early on a Sunday morning and I just wanted to sleep! So, here we are.. and I’m determined to make some sort of difference. I’ve recently started going back to the gym regularly before and after work, but right now I feel that I could be pushing myself further.

I’ve been using Maximuscle products for a few months off and on - Thermobol fat burning capsules and Promax Diet Protein shake (doesn’t taste that great). However, I have now been introduced to PVL Whey Gourmet and Nutrex Lipo-6 capsules which I will be using RELIGIOUSLY!!!

I do intend on posting some current photographs of myself sometime this week.. so keep checking back for the updates!
