Def check out some omega 3's they will help you a great deal. Pay attention to the pain, if it goes away fast it could just be tendonitis. If it lingers go to a doctor. I also use a product called Flexcin that I get via http://www.zerojointpain.com

Good luck!

glucosamine chrondroitin and multivitamins. Glucosamine has never been an anti-inflamatory; but, after 3-4 weeks of use, you notice much more strength and flexibility in your joints. Check with a doctor, though, to be sure that your knee pain is not indicative of bigger problems with the cruciate ligament complex or the iliotibial tendon.

And remember that we aren't all created in the same way, so you may have to be satisfied with less of a definition in that way.

One thing that I think helps with that is inner ab control. Work on your vaccuum and you'll be more able to pull that part of your stomach in. I don't have a super deep seperation just flexing, but if I think about pulling in there it makes a difference.

As a CSCS, I would recommend this:
The Trap technically has 4 parts. In order to effectively work the top (Trap I), You must use dumbells. A barbell doesn't allow you to position your arms next to the body, which will put the arms in the best position to work Trap I. (upper)

Hope this helps.
