I had been talking with my wife about buying p90x for my workout, and she was against the price. I was trying to find a way to cut back on this, not buy that, use less of this, the normal way to fit something new in our budget. When the unbelievable happen. My wife loves those Saturday morning yard sales. She came back with a P90x kit,the whole thing. She paid only $10 dollars. The lady at the sale said she had got it for her daughter last Christmas and she had never even opened it.

Her lost , my gain

I was raised by my grandparents. my mother(grandmother) always called me her youngest son, oldest grandson. Saturday morning my wife came home and told me to sit down, i refused, then she told me my mother(grandmother) had died that morning.
this is the hardest dealth of a loved one i have had to go through. my real mother’s dealth was like the dealth of an aunt. I fealth pain, but not like this. I went to work to make sure of my time off, and everytime i talked to anyone tears would well up and i would walk off. I’m alway the strong one in the family, but now I can’t be that for everyone else. everything reminds me of my mother(grandmother). I never realized how important she was in my life until now.
I have faith that I will see her again in the resurrection, but now I’m just trying to deal with the pain of loosing her. She was 81. I always told people that eventhough she was about 5′3 in hight she always seemed taller than me.
There were times that I could have spent more time with her, but my family, job, and other things got in the way. Those times are lost.

To anyone who reads this "never pass up the time to spend with a loved one, because when that time is gone, and that person is gone you can’t get them back.

last week end I added a extra day to my refeed, so I could check my max on some lifts(curl, bench, squat). I also measured my arms, chest , and back, waist. I was expecting to loose some strenght, but I’ve went up in all my lifts. also I have went up in my measurements in my arms, chest and back. I have dropped in my waist. I’m thinking that since I’m only doing 2 to three sets with 4 to 6 reps i’m gaining mass and loosing fat. the scale isn’t falling as fast as it did when i first started out. I will have to change my plan because I don’t want to get any bigger, I want to get cut. does anyone have in hints for me since i’m doing keto

I’ve been doing keto for weeks 7 weeks now and have went from 360 to 328(32pounds). Keto for myself has been easy compared to other eating diets. I look at people at work doing all these different way of starving them selves and compare keto to them, and keto wins. Maybe its because I love eggs, meat and greans. I can live without bread, pasta, candy and high carb drinks. I had tried to do a low fat, low carb diet, and lost a lot of good mass. Now that I understand that your body can only burn fat or carbs for energy, keto is for me. I’m still doing a refeed on saturdays, but not to the degree that it takes all the way to tuesday to get back to burning fat. I used to eat everything i could think of just because, in my mind I thought i could. Now I know that the refeed is just another name for keeping the body confused. Now I limit the carbs I eat just to fill up my my body for leg day(monday) and back/bicep day on tuesday.

what has been everyones keto try? and could they keep it up for atleast 6 months?

This Tuesday us our mid weigh in. At first I wasn’t going to join, but I had already set a goal to lose 60 pounds in two months and when I went to work and saw that the weigh INS and end date was the same as my goal dates I entered. I know I have an advantage being on bodybuilding.com, but I always say that " the one with the best support and info will always win". I’m halfway in the comp and on track to lose 60 pounds in 2 months and win $300.
