Night Shift….

Well training for the new job is offically over…time to work like the rest of the stiffs here…but damn the night shift for the first 90days??? It is a fricking conspiracy I tell you.. a conspiracy; to make matters worst they have a two refrigerators filled with junk food…did I say conspiracy already…bastards!!! But ahhh all is not lost…for you see located in the bowels of this building lies a gym…one that is used maybe once every new moon…weights begging to lifted… So you see friends I have found nirvana…a gym with no one to share it with…Yes…night shift rocks

A dumb a@* in the gym

In every gym there is alwyas one idiot…the guy who’s knowledge of bodybuilding is what he over heard in another conversation… The guy that does the same routine day in and day out can’t understand why his gains have stopped. Well today that guy got himself a one way ticket to the ER. So Dumb a*# is lifting with his larger counter parts; I overhear them telling that he has too much weight on the bar and he needs to drop some weight…nah I got it he says..ok.. so gets the 225 off the rack… and it immediately crashes into his chest…WHAM!!! Holy Krap he killed himself..lol. I know…I shouldn’t laugh but…he was told not to try it. His buddies rushed over and got the bar off his chest and he curled up into a ball and started whimpering…Prognosis is he suffered a cracked sternum, bruised ribs and a shattered EGO!!! 

What did I learn from this… 1: check your ego at the door… it can get you hurt, 2: know your limits…it can get you hurt, 3: have spotters that pay attention to you while you are lifting… they can get you hurt.

We should always improve on the last workout…but you can’t do it over night.
