Unwrapping of the Abs

First I just wanted to say another thank you to all of my unwrap peeps… it has been a blessing to have their support!! I will say this challenge was what you made it.. everyone had different goals and I know that even if you did not reach them you came closer to them than before!! I lost 10lbs and a lot of inches.. when I measured my hips this morning I had to do it twice to make sure I was correct…. I am feeling so good and this challenge is keeping me pumped for life. I will continue the clean eating and 6 days of working out.. the cardio is something I need and my body shows a difference from it! Well I am out… Happy Holidays!

My Stats

Hips: 47 to 44.5

Wasit: 32.5 to 31

Thighs: 27 to 26

I am finally so excited to workout.. I look forward to it like going out to eat or a club kind of excitment.. is this strange???

I wish I could be at the gym for hours but I know I have to calm down because I don’t want to get burned out!!

This morning I got there by 515 that never happens I would of gotten there at 5.. I was trying to wait on my buddy but she overslept!

This morning I got in my legs for the week

4 sets on leg extension, leg curls, squats, angled leg press

3 sets on calve raises, deadlifts, lunges

5 min warmup on stairclimber

10 min on stairclimber after workout

This was super intense workout today and I am proud of myself!

End of the year goals

I have vacation time coming up and I still have not gotten under 200lbs so my goal is to be there by mid jan when I head to D.C!!!!!  So during my time off I will be doing two a days and getting more miles!

Things accomplished:

 I have lost over 20lbs from the beggining of the year and I did not get serious until the middle of August!

I get in about 6 workouts a week now

I can run over 5 miles without passing out

Future goals… operation bikini body is still in affect for next summer

I need to be under 200 by mid Jan then 175 by April then by mid July 150-160 would be great!

So I will stick to what I am doing and I am positive that this will happen!!!!!!!

Monday, December 15th, 2008

This weekend was cool.. a bit of drama friday evening but I won’t let no one stop me from my goals!!!

So forward to sat morning.. I decide that after my super awesome friday morning workout that I will do the same workout again only instead of one hr on the treadmill 45 min will be just fine….. so I started with back and biceps everything is going great.. a little sore but that just means I am doing something right. Now I head upstairs to the treadmill… I warm up everything is still going great so I bump up the speed to my fast interval.. whoa.. my body has decided to rebel… has the outside of your chest ever hurt when you ran?? Well mine did and I had to stop.. it was the worst pain ever.. I guess the new incline press I added on friday did this to me! I could only go for 10 min! 

Sunday I decided to rest.. I got my 3 cardios and 3 weight sessions in so I was good for the week.

Sat night I went out dancing and a girl that I see often pulls me over and gives me a huge compliment.. she was like wow you are looking great.. keep it up girl…. she was like you have a nice hourglass figure.. I was so happy the pants I had on did not fit but now they do.. I did feel kind of cute and all the extra attention from the fellas was kind of funny especially the ones that have known me for years!!

 Well picture day is next week.. I am ready!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Are you jealous? Actually it was 5.24 my personal best Go ME :)

Anyways this friday’s workout was the bomb..  I did chest/triceps (3 sets of seated dips,chest press, bench press, tricep extension and angled chest press) then one hr interval run.. I feel energized!

I don’t really know what to say but I am just so thankful for the life I have been blessed with thru it’s up and downs I have wonderful people around me to keep me accountable and who truly love me and now I can add a few people on this website to that list too :)

I like that I started the abs challenge.. my buddies on that forum have been the best and I know they are the reason I got over my plateau.

More things I am noticing about my body in training.. my endurance is growing.. I can do five miles now whohoo! My upper body is leaning out.. my shirts are big.. I don’t really see much difference on my bottom half but I have went down a size in my jeans.. I will be in my old smaller clothes in a few weeks. Also my goal of getting under 200 is way closer.. I really can’t believe I let myself get this big but I won’t ever again!!!!! I am also way more calm about my weightloss this time around( i am thinking lifeterm not shorterm anymore).. when I feel negative or like I am about to obsessess I reach out to my special friends who keep me grounded(jaded)!!

So that is all folks.. keep pushing and always be honest with yourself!

Well I can’t believe the end of the years is almost here! I had a wonderful thanksgiving and I enjoyed the food that day but I stayed on track. I went to the gym thanksgiving morning and I was pleasantly surprised that there was a crowd at the gym. Then friday I ran 4 miles in 45 min… so I finally reached that goal of mine! Now I am 211 pounds.. yes it is still alot but my goal of getting under 200 is coming right around the corner.. I am losing an average of 6lbs a month.. so my goal is to switch it up and see if I can get under 200 by Jan 1 :)

 So I will kick up the cardio this week and see what new changes my body will make at the end of this month.. picture day is Dec 24!!
