Today is day # 11 of cutting diet. I did a refeed 2 days ago and then cut down the carbs to 150 g again and today the tonita scale at 206 and 18% body fat. The Navy charts also say 18% so I guess I really am that high - ughhh. Well if I am 18 % and I lose 1.5 pound fat a week while maintaining muscle then my progress should go like this:
1/4/08 206 LB 18% BF
2/4/08 200 LB 15% BF
3/4/08 194 LB 13% BF
4/4/08 188 LB 10% BF
5/4/08 182 LB 7% BF
I'll post pics at each landmark weight - I am pretty sure I will end up in the 180s somewhere for competition condition - that seems so low to me but I guess that is what its going to take....

Today is my eighth day of cutting. I started at 213.6 and this morning I weighed 206.4 -- I have been at this same weight for 4 days now so I decided to use today as a refeeding day to stimulate my leptin levels - I doubled my carbs and reduced my protein to 1 g/LB while keeping my fats at about 50 g. I noticed more definition today during my leg workout and my 34 inch pants are fitting better so I know its working but I still have a long way to go. I think I will post some progress pics when I am down to 200.

Well today is my second day on the cutting diet and its not as bad as I thought it would be. I have not been eating enough the last few weeks which has caused my fat loss to stall. - I am actually eating more now but mostly in the form of extra protein and I am also eating more frequently -- ie 2.5 hrs. I feel good. Today I went to Kohls and bought three pairs of size 34 pants -- they are a bit snug but I can wear them -- I wanted to get some tighter clothes not only to look good but to be a constant reminder that I am cutting. I also bought two new medium size shirts -- they are pretty snug but they show off nicely my arms and chest so I figured why not! I cant wait to get into size 32 pants -- hopefully next month!
