I have been bodybuilding on and off noncompetitively since I was in High School. Last Summer I got motivated to get back in shape when I was pushing the scale over 230 and felt like shit. I have my weight down to 211 now and my waist down from over 40 to 36 — my goal is to get my weight down to 190 and hopefully have a sub 8% body fat.

Well I just took some NO-Xplode and waited a half hour for it to kick in — going to the gym for my shoulder routine. My weight is at 212 this morning but my BF % is down to 18.5 (at least according to my tanita scale — i am not convinced it is accurate but i do think it is a good measure of changes). I am getting a bit frustrated b/c my weight is only coming down 3 lbs a month — i need to get that up to 2 lbs a week.

Well i just posted my first pic — I have to say it is a bit unnerving to post but what the hell I am trying to motivate myself. I am not very happy with it b/c i had to take it myself with a tripod and I am stone cold in it — I’d like to get another one posted once my fat % is a bit lower and right after I have a good workout. But looking at it I can clearly see I need to lose fat and also work my lats and lower pecs. Eveything else should look pretty good once my body fat % is down.
