what a relief!

Thursday, May 28th, 2009

so i now can say I completely understand the term of "runners high"! i use to hate cardio with a passion because i had deathly sports induced asthma and i couldn’t run far or fast and it pissed me off because i’m so competitive! well i have had the WORST day ever well not ever but pretty close! it was one of those days you just want to bang your head into the wall a few times lol! well i decided to try some HIIT and was amazed at how good i was! i did it for a whole 30 min and then continued to walk on an incline of 6 for 15 min! i am honestly proud of myself for the first time in a long time!!

Diets…no idea honestly!

Saturday, March 14th, 2009

So I’ve decided to make some major changes in my life with the hopes of competing and getting back into modeling in the future. I’m 5′.5′’ and about 140 lbs right now but would like to get down to 110. The hard part is that I honestly have no idea where to start when it comes to a diet. I read articles and they all say something different. I also live with my fiancee and his family who loves high fat and fried foods…yuck! So that makes eating clean even harder! Any advice would be so helpful and greatly appreciated!

Starting Fresh

Saturday, November 22nd, 2008

So I have finally decided to do it. Finally lose the weight I’ve wanted to and quit being lazy. I’m not over weight but i have some excess chub that i’m just sick of. I over ate or ate processed foods because i was so stressed and tight on money. But now I have came to a point in my life where I have made some major changes and I am generally happy! I’m ready for my physical change now!

whoo so excited!

Monday, March 31st, 2008

So today was one crazy day for me…but it was still pretty good! I did a quick but pretty good chest workout and ran pretty hard for 15 minutes…i was kinda on a time limit because of my work schedule but at least i fit something in!

Well what makes me really excited is that today one of our regulars at my smoothie job started talking to me and he trains ppl for college and pro sports and bodybuilders too and he heard around that i was interested in competing and he offered to train me and give me tons of advice completely free!! i’m so thankful for that!!

Besides that life is hectic! Working 5 jobs is def taking a toll on my diet and really pissing me off lol! But hey i finally turn 19 next week! whoo! it’s kind of a sad and depressing time for me though cuz of some family issues but that just means i’ll be hitting the gym harder and probably boxing out my frustrations!

love ya guys!

need some help!

Sunday, March 30th, 2008
So in the past 2 months or so I really noticed how much i love weightlifting and bodybuilding and have become hooked! I love seeing the transformation of my body! After i graduated high school i went through some really rough times and gained around 20 lbs…luckily i’ve dropped most of that weight and have a lot more definition again!

I know quite a bit about lifting and weight training luckily but when it comes to diet and supplements I’m def a beginner. So that’s where i need some help. Im looking to reduce my bf% and build a lot of muscle at the same time. I would LOVE to be able to compete by this time next year. So what should my every day diet be like? I have a basic idea when it comes to protein and complex carbs and good fats but kinda need some suggestions on exactly what foods are good and what foods are bad. Also what supplements should i be taking? I do a whey protein shake before and after I work out but i want to see more results?

Thanks a ton in advance! I’ll def take everything you say into consideration!
