All i can say is that our bodies are all programmed differntly. genetics, age, and body types play a role in all of it. Which is why so many people have to try amny things to see what works for them

As you can see, those calculators are worthless. I suggest trail and error. I can tell you the Weight Watchers will have women at 1200 to 1500 calories (depending on a variety of factors). I am just guessing, but my guess would be you probably need to be around 1500 calories.

it has alot to do with the way the 1400 or 2400 cals are distributed throughout the day. eating 2 meals of 700 cals will have you GAINING alot more weight than say, 8 meals of 300 cals. this may seem counterintuitive but eating multiple meals will keep your metabolism going nonstop, so youll burn more of those 2400 in trying to process them. also depends on the source of those calories: 2400 from whole wheat, for example, will yield much less weight long-term than white flour would bc whole wheat metabolizes much more slowly and will keep your metabolism working longer.

long story short: everyone's genetics ARE in fact that different, but it has more to do with how clean and the types of calories ingested.

Oh gosh, I remember the dreaded weaning stage... and I had to go through it three different times! Although, it's not much of a consolation now, it actually does get better with each child. But the first one is the worst!

You should feel better each day now. You have the worst part behind you (unless you get mastitis(sp?) which is a clogged milk duct. But you will know it if it happens. The area gets very red, hot to the touch, swollen, and you will get feverish. I had it with my first one.

There is nothing more horrible than having an unhappy/sick/hurt child and not being able to make it all go away for them! I feel for you! The best advice I can give is to elevate him when he's sleeping (with your doctors okay). My doctor had me put a pillow underneath the crib mattress so that it raised the bed slightly and made it easier for my little one(s) to breathe, but by putting the pillow under the mattress (between the mattress and the springs) and not under the baby, you take away the hazard of them accidentally suffocating on the pillow.

Also, getting a vaporizer helps a lot! you can put some liquid vicks in it and it helps open the nasal passages and airways.

I hope this helps! And don't forget to take care of yourself too! You don't want to get sick.

It sounds like things are moving in the right direction for you! I know you wanted to nurse the lil man for a while longer...but sometimes nature wants to do its own thing, if hes biting...its means hes ready. I would also agree with the above comment....dont use hydroxycut...I just take caffiene pills, they are WAY cheaper and gives ya the oomph ya need :)

I wouldn't use Hydroxycut anymore hun. I used it and then they had that recall because it was causing liver damage. I'm doing it naturally. Yeah, it's taking longer but I'd rather be safe than sorry. God bless!
