New arm routine thanks to BB.com!

Tuesday, April 28th, 2009

So today I knew I was planning on lifting for bi’s, tri’s, and delts, but have felt some lag in my workouts lately. I usually switch things up every week, but I knew I needed a much bigger change this time around.

I began looking on bb.com for some articles and came up with this one.
http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/fivestararms.htm

The thing I took from it best was how its crucial to train from all hand positions/angles. For example, for bi’s I did 4 sets of hammer curls (where your palms face each other), preacher curls (where your palms both face up), and reverse grip cable curls (where you palms both face down), along with some other db curls.

I did the same technique for tri’s, and I gotta tell I can already tell the difference. My arms are completely taxed, and I had trouble getting in my truck on the way out of the gym!!

Hopefully anyone who reads this will be encouraged to switch some stuff up in their routines next week and maybe see some good gains in the future

My arms after todays workout!

Doing it right this time

Saturday, March 28th, 2009

I’ve gone through many spells of working out, and "trying to get fit", all in failing efforts.. However, I definitely feel like I am doing it right this time. I know by the looks of my progress pics that I am doing it right..

Thanks to BB.com though. I’ve learned the most crucial stuff about my diet.. what to eat… when to eat it.. and so forth.

My discipline is also very different. I think the more progress I see, the more motivated I get to continue. My diet, steady workouts, and actual bodybuilding lifestyle changes have made such a difference.

I’m very excited for this summer where I will have 100% control of my diet (instead of relying on the cafeterias at school) and to continue my workouts.

Let’s see where this goes..
